I'm really sorry for taking so long to update my story, I won't say it will not happen again but what I can promise is that I will try harder to update as soon as I can. Thanks for being patient with me!

Coleen's party was a huge success. I guess I will never really know but that is what the students have been saying come monday morning. They never stop talking about it, it is getting annoying. They also started staring at me again with the addition of snide remarks. I didn't mind since they've done worst before. It's not even surprising to see them do that. I guess Nathan's protection is wearing out. I knew it wouldn't last and I was right. They will be getting worse, I just knew it.
Dad was so mad when I came home by Sunday afternoon and even threatened to dis own me. I just looked at him without so much as flinching. I don't care anymore, I'll be out of their lives in a week and he never listens to what I have to say so what's the point in defending myself. After the soul numbing lecture I received, my father left for another trip and will be back I don't know when. It doesn't even bother me anymore that he is rarely here.
At school, people are almost back to their old self. How come you ask? Well for one is that, they're back to side comments, sniggering, pointing and laughing. Next they'll be physical again which I am preparing for. It'll be hard working at the bookstore with my body aching. I won't be able to lift the heavy books if that happens and I don't want Ben and Ana worrying.
Speaking of Ben end Ana, they already met with my grandparents and they instantly became good friends. It's good to see my grandparents have real friends since most of their friends are fakes. My grandparents are staying here till I move to my new place and that is in a week.
"Poor girl, she doesn't even have a slight clue." I've heard this the moment I entered the school. Although it's getting annoying but I paid them no mind. Starting a fight is not who I am and it's more tiring to exert effort in trying to think of what they are talking about. They can all talk about somebody's life for all I care.
I haven't seen Nathan and this week he will be spending his lunch with his buddies since he's been spending it with me for the past month. His group of friends spend their lunch in the cafeteria most of the time and I don't know if that is a good idea or not. Nathan once brought me to join them and awkward is a definite understatement. They stopped talking and did two things, eat or stare. I never ate lunch with them again no matter how Nathan wants me to.
"The Bad Boys" as the students name them were still to be seen. I know they won't be coming to school this week because their families sent them to close a deal with another company and it's funny too see all of them closing a deal. Light told me it's close to a hundred million deal that will take ten years of contract. It also involves our company and their parents wanted me to join them but knowing my father he will only think that I will use that excuse to avoid going to class and be a drag.
During class, I don't know if students suffer this in other schools but I noticed that some of the teachers if not most have this obsession in humiliating students. I mean, if the student doesn't know the answer to their questions, they shouldn't add to the embarrassment of the student of not knowing the answer and start another lecture on how the students nowadays are getting dumber and dumber.
I know what your thinking again, why am I having this endless tirade but Ms. Paterson is giving hell to the new student. If your a new student and the teacher asks you to recount last weeks discussion what would you do? I should pity the new student but she's one feisty girl. Imagine Ms. Paterson's surprise when she up and handed her her ass.
"I'm sorry miss but you missed one vital detail before you even started asking me questions." Miss new student confidently said.
With a raised eyebrow, Miss Paterson asked."And what would that be?"
"I don't know, like who I am maybe?" She answered while shrugging.
"If you don't fix that attitude of yours missy, you'll be spending your time in detention."
"Nice, my first day in this school and I'll be sent to detention by a teacher who didn't even know she has a new student in her class. Does this usually happen here? Ask me next week to recount the part discussion and maybe I can finally answer you question, miss."
Ms. Paterson looked like a fish gasping for air it's hard not to burst into laughter although some students failed to reign their laugh. It's fun and refreshing for us because it's not everyday you get to see the almighty Ms. Paterson at a lost for words.
After she introduced herself, Feiye, sat quietly for the rest of the class. After the class she approached me and there I learned how she knew who I am.
"They warned me about you you know. They said that if I want to be at the bottom of the food chain, then I just have to be your friend but if I want to be on the top, then I can definitely join their group."
She started.
"By them you mean Coleen's group right?"
"Yep! That's the name!" She answered cheerfully.
"So why come near me and talk to me? You know I'll only drag you down and maybe even cause you trouble here."
"I've never been one to be told what and what not to do. I was not raised to follow bitches. I make my own rules and I choose my own friends and my gut says to be your friend so I'm your new best friend!"
"You sure are happy and hyper. I guess by now you know that I'm a nobody here and I have a good feeling about you. Friends?"
"Friends."
My friendship circle is getting wider and wider and I'm loving it. Friends have a huge impact in a teenagers life and I'm just beginning to get the hang of it.
