*Kristen's POV*

I was done with feeling this way. Sulking wasn't for me. I had to do something about it. I rose up from my bed and peered out the window. Steve's car lights lit up the darkness as he drove up the street to his house. As he pulled into his driveway, I turned around and ran downstairs. I threw open my front door and raced to his car.

"Steve!" I caught his attention as he exited his car.

He stood with the car door still open. He leaned his arm on the top of the car and looked at me, waiting for me to speak.

"Hi." I began.

"What?" He asked, wanting me to get to the point.

"I want to talk." I crossed my arms, bracing my body from the cool air.

He lightened his tense body and removed his jacket, handing it to me. I gave him a small thankful smile.

"I'm sorry. I promise you, I didn't mean what I said."

He didn't respond.

"I don't know how to make it up to you. I really don't." I admitted, giving up. I leaned against the hood of his car and looked down at my socks. I ran out of my house so quickly that I didn't grab a jacket or shoes.

Steve contemplated for a moment. Then I felt arms wrap around me and pull me closer. I sighed, relieved. I hugged him tight. I didn't want to let go. I didn't want to lose him ever.
