Nancy rushed to Mike, hugging him tightly. He was conscious and looked aware of what was going on. His hair was disheveled and he appeared tired and weak, but he would recover.

Emotions ran high.

We've all been trying to get this poor boy back, and all it took was this little girl.

We all peered around the room. Was that it? Was it over?

Glass breaking broke the silence. A black cloud of smoke blew in quickly and surrounded Will. He screamed, terrified.

Jonathan tried to grab him away from the black cloud, but it was too strong. It had Will and was not letting go.

Jonathan was screaming and trying to get Will. Nancy was holding Mike on the couch. Mike was trying to push past her to get to his best friend, but for his safety, she restrained him. Dustin and Lucas stood frozen. I clung to Steve, crying.

None of us knew what to do.
