Chapter Twenty Nine
Gabe showed up about seven in the morning to start with prep. He started with my nails, painting them a deep matte purple. As they started to dry, he pulled out the dress. Well not really a dress as it was a two piece. A crop top with a high waisted skirt. The crop top was a purple fishnet material with a jeweled lace to cover my bust and collar. The skirt was the fishnet material bunched up to make the skirt puffy and the jeweled lace was the waistband.
"Wow, Gabe. This dress is beautiful!"
"No shit. I have great fucking taste in clothes. Got this shit made just for you to make sure no asshole will be wearing what you are."
"Thanks, Gabe, youre the best." I giggled.
"I fucking know."
He threw me a pile of clothes. Old shirt new undergarments. When I changed he sat at the bedside chair.
"This is the game plan. The boys are at our house getting all prettied up by your mother. The limo will pick them up then swing over to Braydons'. You're after Braydon where you'll head over to the Winchesters to pick Rachel up and take pictures."
Everything seemed normal but I knew something else was coming.
"What about after?"
"Well, they're giving you another shitty test. If you can spend the night no nightmares or anything, you can stay home until Christmas. Then you'll get fucking at home doctors and therapy."
I nodded and let him attack my hair. An hour later I was able to look in the mirror. My hair was pulled up in a tight bun minus two strands that framed my face. The bun was held together with a thick strand of braided hair.
When I was done with makeup, I put on the dress. It took us 12 hours to get ready minus snack breaks and bathroom breaks. The dress was perfect. It was my favorite color and it was unique, made just for me.
"So I know Tyler is going with Braydon and David is going with Rachel but who is Bryan going with?" I asked Gabe.
"He's working security. He wants to make sure you guys are safe. Bunch of bullshit if you ask me. I think he took to long to ask someone. Hes a traditionalist with no experience with girls that he hasn't known his whole life. If a girl were to ask him he'd turn her down because a gentleman always asks the lady to the dance but he'd have no balls to ask a girl with the intention of sticking with her the whole time."
8:00 pm rolled around and a knock on the door caught our attention. Gabe opened the door and there Mark stood with a bouquet of purple carnations. He was wearing all black except his tie and handkerchief which were purple.
"Wow you look-" we started at the same time.
"Beautiful." He finished.
"Handsome," I said after.
"Ha! I got that on fucking video!" Gabe shouted in triumph holding up my phone. "Going on Insta with a hashtag couple goals!" That made me blush a crimson red.
"We aren't dating Gabe," I said
He gave me humph before reply.
"Fine! Hashtag unofficial couple goals." I turned my head and was surprised to see a giant genuine smile on Mark's face.
Gabe took one picture and we were off. We took down the hall and waited for the elevator.
"You look like a princess."
"Does that make you my prince?"
"Do you want me to be?" At this point, Im blushing a crimson red. The elevator door opened with a ping. We stepped inside and mark hit the button.
