Mark was throwing a giant Halloween party that was supposed to last all weekend. The only problem? Trying to get dad to let us go. It was Thursday and we had come to our last resort. We were sitting right outside dad's office on the phone with Rachel, Bryan, and Tyler.
"So, let me get this right, Tyler started. They won't let you go because of masks?" David grunted his yes.
"Did you tell them we were going?" Bryan asked.
"No," David said.
"We were hoping not to bring it there," I added.
"Ugh," Rachel started. "Does that mean we won't go shopping together?"
"We can go shopping for you. "I said.
"Is there really nothing else you can do? It's gonna suck going to my first Halloween party without my best friend."
A large hand swept away my phone. I looked up to see my father. "She'll see you at the party Rachel."
Mission accomplished!
