Owens POV

We were in this week's family meeting when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," I spoke clearly to be heard through the door. Our eldest daughter poked her head in.

"Sadie's here," She said.

"Let her in."

Sadie walked in and Sang stood up to embrace her.

"Let me introduce you to my husbands." We all got up and got in a line, this wasnt our first time.

"This is Lucian. Lover of sweets and master baker." He swept her into a hug.

"You can call me Luke." He told her.

"This is Gabriel. Art enthusiast and Fashionista."

"Gabe if you want." He told her.

"This is Nathan. Ow"ner of several black belts in many different types of martial arts.

He gave her a quick embrace.

"This is Victor. The best pianist in all of South Carolina."

"Its a pleasure," Victor said genuinely.

The line was getting shorter and shorter.

"This is Dakota, Genius and the father of the twins."

"I normally go by Kota but you can call me whatever you want."

"This is my superman, Silas. As strong at ten men but as soft as a teddy bear."

He gave her one of his famous hugs.

"This is North. My master chef and craftsman. He and Lucian are brothers."

North gave her a positive sounding grunt.

"This is Sean. Youngest doctor to open his own practice. Probably."

He grabbed her hand and gave her knuckles a kiss. Then it was my turn.

"This is Owen. Stock investor and the Big Boss."

"Nice to finally meet you, Miss Lilly." I grabbed one of the chairs off of the wall for her to sit.

When we were all seated, I began to speak.

"So Miss Lilly, you requested this meeting. Would you like to start?"

"Well, Im not sure where to start." She replied.

"How about you start at the beginning," Dakota suggested. She nodded and began.

"I was left on my adopted parent's doorstep. They gave me the name Sadie Lilly. They gave me all I needed but I never felt like I fit in. I grew up in an empty home and when I began school I taught myself how to be invisible. That is until I met Jake and he made me feel like I belonged. Our first year together went smoothly.

"He was a great boyfriend until drugs became a factor. He changed. Became abusive when he did a line then he'd drink to forget." Sang grabbed her hand for reassurance.

"When we got to our two years, he brought me out for a fancy dinner and a romantic movie. He brought me home and did a quick line. After he was done, we started a heavy make-out session. I tried to stop him but he had other plans. He was done waiting. I broke up with him the next day and filed a rape case. It was brushed off because of our relationship. About a month and a half later, I found out I was pregnant.

"I went through a rough patch accepting the fact that I was having a child with a monster, When I got back to school I met up with Mike who protected me from Jake.

"At the time I didnt realize that Mike was just as bad as, if not worse than, Jake. Jake was only abusive when he was high but Mike was always verbally putting me down. It took Bryan at the dance to show me that hanging around him was bad for me."

After her story, we were all speechless. I waited for a few minutes before speaking.

"So, from what I understand is that your family has attended to your physical needs but not your emotional needs. We would like to help with that. If you need anything, do not hesitate to reach out to us. Also, we would like to open up a formal adoption. If you would like I could draw up the papers now, give you a week to think about it, and if you still want to, we will present the papers to your parents. Whether you tell them its up to you. I told her the original plan." She gave me an affirmative nod.

"I really want a true family. I would be forever grateful if you took me in. When I told them I was pregnant, they showed no emotion. Normally theyd be angry, upset, sympathetic, anything. They were stone cold." Sang swept her into a hug.

"I want you to know that I already consider you my own. I know its a bit early, but you have already clicked so well, who could argue that you belong anywhere else." All of us nodded or grunted our agreement.

"You are always welcome in our house, no matter your decision," Sean spoke.

"Would you like me to draw up the papers?" I asked.

"Yes please."

"I would like you to know that if this goes through, Dakota would be your father. Is this ok with you?"

"Of course."

After the meeting was over I called up our family lawyer.

"Hello Owen, how can I help you today." Mr. King answered.

"I would like to have papers drawn for an adoption of Miss Sadie Lilly and I want them ready to go by next week. I hope thats no inconvenience?"

"Absolutely not. I will get started on them now. It will want a statement as to why you want to adopt."

"Write: We have noticed a lack of emotional support and we wish to step in."

"Very well. These papers will be ready in six days and on the seventh, I will bring them where?"

"Bring them here and we will head over to Miss Lily's home."

"And if her parent's aren't home?"

"We will give a court's notice."

I ended the call and looked up to my brothers who were trying to contain their excitement.
