Delilah: Well this definitely makes everything easier.
Rachel: It does suck that Sadie cant be in here tho:(
Bryan:Trust me, Im working on getting her something. I cant stand having to call her house to get ahold of her
David:As soon as she gets adopted shell get one, we just have to be patient.
Mark: For now we are managing.
Braydon: The adoption is less than a week now, are you excited?
Delilah: Very!!!
Tyler: Very off-topic but I got tonight off lets do something.
Rachel: ...Ive got nothing
Delilah: Its so hard to think of things to do during the winter :(
Braydon: Wanna do something crazy?
David: How crazy...
Braydon: Do you guys trust me?
Tyler:I do babe!
Bryan: Thats a suspicious question.
Braydon: Lets go to the amusement park on the coast.
Mark: Dude thats been closed for months.
Braydon: Just meet me at the entrance at 9:45pm.
Bryan: Ill let Sadie know, but I swear if we get arrested because of your dumbass, Ill kill you.
Braydon smiled down at his phone. One phone call and everything was set. At 9:45 pm, everyone met at the front entrance. It was obvious that everyone but Braydon was scared. Braydon brought them to the staff entrance and waited.
"Hey, kiddo," A voice on the other of the gate. This made everyone jump.
"Guys, this is my buddy, Scotty. He works here."
Scotty opened the gate and let everyone in. He went into a building and flipped on switches until all the lights were on.
"So the plan is we go up on the Ferris wheel and ride to the top where we will eat these picnics I packed," Braydon explained.
"I didnt realize you were a romantic!" Tyler said. Braydon went over and gave a kiss to the side of Tylers head.
"You still have a lot to learn then."
They walked down the path of lights towards the Ferris wheel. Each cart could fit four people so Mark, Delilah, David, and Rachel went in one and Bryan, Sadie, Tyler, and Braydon went in another. Before going on, Bryan stopped Sadie.
"Can you go on with her?" He asked her, making sure Scotty could hear him.
"Nothing here says no pregnancy so I guess its up to her." Scotty said.
"Will the high elevation hurt you and the baby? Im not worried about anything else." Bryan asked looking into her eyes.
"I'm sure I'll be ok. If Scotty says that its not a problem, then I can't be much of a risk, plus I dont want to sit out." Sadie said.
"If youre worried about being alone, I already planned on sitting out with you if you wanted to. I think we should just to make sure youre safe. I made a promise to protect you." Sadie nodded. "We can have a picnic on the path of lights." Bryan went to the basket and picked out some things for Sadie and himself.
He sat down in the middle of the path. "Do you want to sit between my legs? It may give you some back support?" Sadie took the offer and looked back up at the stars.
Delilah looked over at Mark. They were at the top of the Ferris wheel. Behind him, the stars twinkled brightly. He leaned into her.
"You look beautiful." He whispered into her ear.
She smiled at him and turned away from him so she could lean against his chest. Mark wrapped her up in his arms and just laid there breathing in her intoxicating smell.
The only thing Mark could think about was his pounding heart. He was crazy for Delilah, for obvious reasons. She was his dream girl. It's too early and she's too young, but he wouldn't mind spending the rest of his life with her.
On the other side of the cart, David had Rachel wrapped up in his arms. He loved the feeling of her fitting perfectly in his arms. He never wanted to let go. He didnt care about the future, it didnt matter. She just had to be standing next to him.
Rachel reached into the bag Braydon gave them and grabbed a small bag of Cheetos. David smiled at his girlfriend who stuffed her face.
"What?" She asked past the puffs.
"Im totally in love with you." It all rushed out before he realized he was only saying it for the second time. After a look of surprise, Rachel smiled.
"I know silly." David gave her a confused look. "I know because Im in love with you too. Well, that and I can feel how fast your heart is beating."
"Howd you pull this off?" Tyler asked Braydon, looking over his shoulder. Braydon smiled.
"My grandfather owns this place."
"Will you and Scotty get in trouble?"
"No, I asked gramps and he hired Scotty for me. Hes getting a pay raise for this."
"Thank you." Tyler gave him a kiss and turned back around, thankful for this night.
