Chapter Thirty Five

3rd person POV

Delilah was the first one up. It was around 6:30 am and she was wondering how she got home. The last she remembered was being at the beach with everyone. She looked down and smiled when she saw she was still wearing Mark-Anthonys shirt.

She woke up Rachel and Sadie. She figured since the mall opens at ten-thirty, and the other girls would definitely want breakfast, they could leave at eight giving them an hour and a half to get ready. Sadie was easy to wake, but waking up Rachel was a task in itself. It wasn't until Delilah whispered in her ear about the sweet promise of stuffed french toast.

The girls went comfort over style today. Rachel threw on some pajamas after passing out in jeans. Sadie took a pair of Delilah's sweatpants. Delilah wore a pair of jeggings and one of Davids old sweatshirts.

They all headed over to Bobs Diner. Sadie was weary but Rachel and Delilah walked right into the kitchen and into the office where Delilah saw her grandfather writing out checks for his workers. Delilah went up to the man and hugged him from behind. Tio looked up from his bills to his granddaughter.

"Hi, pumpkin! What brings you here?" Tio gave his granddaughter a kiss on her cheek.

"We were wondering if you could make us some of your famous chocolate chip pancakes?" Tio looked around his office and noticed Rachel next to a timid little girl. He gave them his warmest smile.

"Hello, girls."

"Hey, Gramps. Havent seen you in a quick minute. We brought the soon to be newest part of your family." Rachel said.

"Hello, darling. I'm Grandpa Tio." He got up and gave the girl a hug. He noticed her tensing up but he decided not to ask any questions yet. Im Dakota's stepfather and Luke and Norths uncle. Its a bit confusing but thats ok, right? Were all family."

Sadie gave him a small smile. She was glad she was getting adopted by this family. Tio went into the kitchen and started to make the pancakes. He kept pestering Delilah about learning how to cook.

"I know how to make pancakes Gramps. I just cant ever make them as good as yours." Delilah told her grandfather.

"Mhm sure."

Tio finished the pancakes and ate with the girls. When they were done the girls helped clean up and then headed out the mall. Tio headed over to his office and continued writing out the checks. He was almost done when his nephew came into the office.

"Hey Uncle, Im here to start prep," Luke said.

Tio set down his paperwork and helped Luke with cutting up the fruit.

"You know, the girls stopped in here earlier."

"I knew they were going to the mall but they didn't say anything about stopping here first."

"Yeah, Delilah demanded pancakes. But I met Sadie." He set down his knife and looked over at his nephew. "I got hit by deja vu when we met. It was like meeting Sang again."

"Did you like her?" Luke set down his knife as well.

"I dont think I tell you this nearly as much as I should, but Im proud of you and your family."

"Thanks, Uncle."

They turned around and got back to work.

Meanwhile at the mall, the girls were going at it in Victorias Secret. Sadie was starting to get aggravated at her new friend's excessive need to spend money. Close to seventy dollars for a maternity bra when she could get one for five dollars at Walmart.

"Guys! Use your heads! God gave you brains for a reason! Why wear a bra I'll wear until I have my baby girl and my boobs grow a bit more?"

"All we need is one and then well leave it alone!" Delilah pestered.

"Well get you fitted because that bra obviously doesnt fit. Then well get one for the sole purpose of buying you your first Victoria bra!" Rachel was surprised when she heard her friend never had a Victoria bra.

"Yeah, we get one bra then head over to target and get you cheap ones." Delilah pushed. Sadie sighed.

"How much is our budget?" Sadie asked. Delilah snorted.

"Which credit card."

After spending $120 between the three girls, they went over to target as promised. They went over to the maternity section. Delilah picked up a racy bra.

"You should get this." She said to Sadie.

"What would I do with that?" Sadie asked her.

"Seduce your man of course!" Rachel started to gag as Sadie turned red.

"I dont know what you mean. You should put that back before we get in trouble." Delilah's jaw went wide as she dropped her hands.

"Are you telling me youve never had any racy daydreams about Bryan?"

"Have you had them about Mark?" Sadie asked.

"Yes! Its natural to feel sexually attracted to your boyfriend especially at this age!"

"Not all girls daydream about seducing their men." Rachel butted in

"Are you telling me you don't daydream about David? WAIT!!! Don't answer that!"

"That's different!" Rachel turned red.

"How so?" Delilah asked.

"Ive known David since he was in diapers. I've had PG thoughts about him my whole life. Now that were dating, Ive run out of PG thoughts."

Sadie was crimson red at this point. She held up the bras she had in her hands. "Im good with these!"

They walked into the baby furniture section and Sadie stopped at a crib.

"Don't worry." Rachel said.

"Yeah, North and Silas have probably started on one," Delilah assured her.

On their way out they stopped at Starbucks.

"How are we going to explain that the only thing we bought were undergarments?" Rachel asked with a laugh. The girls laughed and went back to their coffee.

Delilah looked over at her soon to be sister. She was excited, she'd finally know what it was like to have a real older sister. She had Rachel but at the end of the day, Rachel had to go home. Now Sadie would be going home with her.

"I have a question!" Delilah exclaimed. She turned and looked at Sadie. "Who's going to be the godmother?"

Rachel's eyes went wide. Sadie only raised her brow.

"Who said I'm going to Baptize my baby?"

Savage.
