Chapter Twenty Three

"We're transferring." We were at a team meeting when Rachel told us the news.

"You're leaving the Academy?" David asked.

"Yeah. We don't want you to be alone anymore. We see the drama you've been put through and we tried to help as much as we could but it's hard to do that when we seem so far away." Tyler said.

"We shouldn't have let you go by yourselves in the first place," Bryan added.

"Are you sure this is what you want?" I asked.

All three nodded. I guess if this is what they want, I have no right to go against it. Not that I would but still.

"I think it's a great idea," I spoke up. "We can be together again."

Smiles went around the room.

"So when do you start?" David asked.

"Tomorrow when bubblegum starts back up," Tyler said.

"So we'll be there for emotional support." Rachel said grabbing my hand.

"You guys are the best-est friends a girl could ask for." Tears of happiness fell freely from my eyes before I was engulfed in a group hug.

We spent the rest of the night watching movies before passing out.

I woke up to my screeching alarm. Getting out of bed and kicking Rachel awake before hopping into my shower. I put on one of David's old button up shirts while I did my hair. Rachel jumped into the shower while I was blow drying and was done when I was straightening.

She began to brush her hair, but soon slammed the brush down and put her head into her hands I went and picked up the brush, gently running it through her hair. She lifted her head and sent me a small smile.

"Thanks. I guess I'm a bit nervous"

"You aren't alone. I hyperventilated my first day."

When I was done with our makeup, we got dressed. We both wore tank tops and flannels tied at our waists. I wore a white tank with a red flannel, sported with dark jeans and dark brown combat boots. Rachel wore a white tank with a pair of khaki joggers and a dark gray flannel and Timberlands on her feet. We put on deodorant and perfume before heading down and grabbing breakfast. We were eating our bagel when Leo and Gale burst into the kitchen.

"Attention Lady and Delilah!" Leo announced sending me a sheepish smile as Rachel died laughing next to me.

"We were paid FIFTEEN DOLLARS EACH to read you this message David wrote on Leo's' hand," Gale said with a large smile on his face.

"Please feast your eyes on the guys who will have you..." He turned to gale with fear clearly in his eyes, before whispering: "I can't read this word..."

Gale walked over to Leo, finishing the speech. "...Panting in your chairs. So without further-ado, welcome the boys. I refuse to say men."

Then, on cue, Tyler waltzed in, standing on the right side of the kitchen. Tyler was wearing a tight fit white cotton shirt and black Adidas pants with white stripes.

David came in next, standing right next to Tyler. He wore the same thing except his shirt was red and the Adidas pants sported red stripes.

Bryan walked in, standing next to David. His pants were white with navy stripes, his shirt navy as well.

"Ladies, welcome to the hottest runway you've ever been to," David said.

Tyler turned and went into a handstand, David grabbing their ankles. Tyler's shirt fell into his face and he began to screech.
