Soulmate A.U- Each person has a countdown on their wrist. When the timer hits zero the person meets their soulmate. Quirk- None
"Watch out!" I screamed as I rushed to the small child. A villain attack was occurring and a child got caught in the fray. I leaped, caught the child and rolled into a nearby wall. Debris trickled down, I panicked and covered the child with my body. Yet, nothing touched us. I peered up only to see Midoriya holding the chunk of concrete. I scrambled to my feet and hurried with the child. ~~~~~ "Thank you Midoriya!" I bow towards the boy, "I'm so glad you've finally achieved your dream of becoming a hero!" "Ah! T-Thank you (Name)..." "We should hang out sometime! Especially since we attend different high schools." "(Name)...you know I don't-" I waved my hand, "Pfft- stupid Midoriya as friends! We were really close during 3rd year!" "A-alright if you're okay with that." Although I held a cheery smile, my tattered heart cracked a bit more. ~~~~~ We live in a world filled with powers, and soulmates. They state each person has a soulmate. A soulmate to love and cherish, to start a family with. I had a countdown. I was excited to meet the one I was destined to love. ~~~~~ I was transferring into a new middle school for my second year. I introduced myself and sat marginal to an empty seat. Apparently a boy named 'Deku' sat there. Students questioned about me. 'What is your quirk?' Or 'Where are you from?'. I answered truthfully, which I regretted immediately. They called me names and said terrible things. Eventually this 'Deku' came and my timer buzzed. But his didn't. My already fragile heart, shattered. It broke. But, I wouldn't let that stop me. I would introduce myself, and at least become friends with this 'Deku'.
