Before we start I just want to say Happy New Year! May your year be awesomely amazing! Take care of yourself, physically or mentally. See the good in every thing and keep that positive mental attitude up, but remeber it's okay to be sad, let that out, then move on. Okay, now to the story.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been a few weeks since Jeremy and his dad moved in. Jeremy doesn't me like all that much. He has his boyfriend over a lot and it kind of smells like weed in the hallway. Connor notices when he comes over. A few times it's smelled like that in my room and I hate it. I constantly ask if Jeremy and Michael had been smoking drugs in my room. He always says no, but I don't believe him, plus Connor actually stop doing drugs. If I could only get those other two to stop.
I head down stairs and bump into the two boys. Jeremy just gives me an annoyed look. I look away and keep going. I grab my coat and call out to my mom. “Mom! I'm going over to Connor’s for a bit!”
“Okay kiddo! Have fun!” She calls back.
I sigh and walk out.
Connor opens the door. “Oh, I wasn't expecting it to be you.”
“Sorry I didn't text you. I had to get out of the house.”
“Jeremy?” He moves out of the doorway so I can come in.
“And Michael.” I walk in.
Connor scoops me up in his arms like ice cream. Which reminded me of my craving for ice cream.
“Hey, do you have any ice cream?”
“You bet.” He sets me down on his couch. He runs into the kitchen, angering his mom, who's voice I hear from the kitchen. “Connor, how many times have I told you not to run around the house like that?”
“Sorry, mom. It’s an Evan emergency.”
He rushes out with a container of ice cream and two spoons. “Blanket?”
I nod and he heads up the stairs, he comes down a minute later with a blanket. I put the blanket around myself, making sure there's still some lift for Connor, as I watch him put in our favorite movie. Lady And The Tramp. He plops himself beside me and cuddles with me. I open the ice cream and hand him a spoon.
I walk through the door and spot Michael and Jeremy making out on the couch. I quickly walk to the stairs, trying to be as quiet as possible.
“Well, well. Look who's back.” Michael calls.
I shrink. “Leave me alone.” I try walking up the stairs, but one of the two boys grab me by my waist and tosses me. I fall in a heep on the floor. “Stop!” My voice hitches. “Please, stop.”
Jeremy kneels down beside me and put his hand on my head, pushing onto the floor, making sure I stay down. “Beg.”
“Where's mom and dad?” I look into his eyes.
He lifts my head up and bangs it on the floor. “I said beg!”
“Stop! Please!?” I start to cry. “Please?”
“Awe, look! He's crying! What a cry baby!” Michael comments.
They both laugh.
Jeremy lifts me up and grabs my face tightly. “Now, you're going to go up stairs and not speak of this, or I'll make you regret it! Got that?”
I nod.
He shoves me away.
I get up and run up stairs. I toss myself onto my bed and start sobbing. I stay there until I drift off to sleep.
