Tw: Death.

Michael watched as the rosey red liquid poured out onto the floor. “What? What have I done?”

Michael tuned his head as his mother walked through the door. Her hands are full with paper grocery bags. He gets up and helps her out.

“Thank you, Michael.” She drops her bags off by the door.

“It’s snow problem.”

Michael's mother giggles as she takes of her snow covered coat and hangs it up. “So what have you been doing?”

“Waiting for you to come home.”

“So you've just been sitting on the couch for three hours?”

“No, I was watching tv.”

“That's the answer I was looking for.”

Michael rolls his eyes. “Whatever.”

Michael starts to look at the ingredients he's been provided by his mother. It was his turn to make supper and he wanted to make something fancy for the anniversary of mom getting her dream job. Ten years now she's been a fashion designer. Michael makes steak with a side of brown rice and homemade ice cream for dessert. He also makes a strawberry drizzle that turns out to be a gorgeous red.

Both of them sit at the table. Michael's mother is shocked by her sons work. It looks fantastic. The meet was a wonderful rosey red and the ice cream looked delicious.

“Wow Michael! This looks delicious!” Michael's mother picks up her silver where.

“Thank you.”

They both dig in.

Michael rammed Connor against a wall of lockers. “What did you just say?!”

“Michael!” Jeremy pulled Michael off of Connor. “It's okay. This happens all the time, it doesn't hurt me. Besides he didn't mean anything by it.”

“That's what he wants you to think!”

“Michael,” Connor says. “I didn't mean to offend anyone, and I'm sorry that did, I just didn't know. Okay?”

Evan steps towards Connor quickly, clinging to his waist. “Connor are you okay?” He whimpers quietly.

“Yeah baby, I'm fine.” Connor wraps his arm around Evan reassuringly.

Michael backs down. “Fine. Just don't assume shit like that again.”

“Okay.”  Connor puts his hands up in defence.

Michael storms off and Jeremy chases after him.

Michael carefully climbs through the window to Connor’s bedroom. The only light that fills the room is the bright, full moon. Michael's shadow swallows the sleeping boy in black. The cause of the change in lighting causes Connor to wake.

Connor opens an eye and peers over his shoulder.

Michael holds a cloth he soaked in chloroform earlier over Connor’s mouth. The boy struggles to break free from the cloth, but Michael pins him down, rendering him unable to move. It takes four minutes until Connor passes out. Michael takes the boy and slings him over his shoulder. Michael quietly makes his way out.

Michael just finished tying Connor to a tree when he wakes up. Connor realizes his situation and struggles within the strength of the tight ropes.

“Well, well, well. Look who's finally awake.” Michael draws out most of his his words in as tone higher than that of his normal one.
