TW: This is not made to offend anyone and I’m really sorry please don’t hate me

Michael and Jeremy have been friends for years, yet Michael barley knew Jeremy. The two hang out all the time, and today was no different. Michael was popping in the disc of the two boy's favorite video game, while Jeremy walked down the stairs with a bowl of popcorn and and drinks.

“Okay, Jeremy. I got the AOTD in.”

“Nice, I got popcorn and drinks.”

The two boy's sank into Jeremy's bean bags and started playing their game.

“So, Michael, how the new history class? Oh, watch out!”

“Ah, got it! You know, it's not to bad. We started a course on the Natzis and world war 2. Gah!”

“Whoa! Seriously, Nazis and world war 2?”

“Yeah, I think it’s pretty cool.”

“Michael, the Nazis ran a genocide! How is that cool?!”

“I meant ‘cool to learn about.’ Geez, no need to get all worked up about it.”

Jeremy sighs, and they both continue to play their game.

Michael decided to break the silence. “I heard someone say that they swear people get ten times cuter when they talk about thing they're passionate about. I think it’s true. Unless it’s about Hitler, then then it's only nein times cuter.”

Jeremy slaps Michael's arm. “I’m done with you.”

Michael giggles a little.

It was quiet for a moment, untill Michael said something stupid. “Nazie war camps.”

Jeremy paused the game. “Michael, stop!”

“Why?”

“Two reasons. One, because it's not funny. Two, because I'm Jewish.”

Michael looks at his friend. “Your Jewish?”

“Isn't that what I just said?”

“Jeremy… You never told me you're Jewish. If I had known, I wouldn't have gone on like that.”

“Well, now ya know.”

It’s quiet for a few moments. Until Michael speaks up. “Jeremy, I’m sorry, can you forgive me?”

Jeremy looks down. “Yeah, I can't blame you for not knowing.”

Michael smiles and hugs his friend. “I’m sorry, I really am.”

“You're forgiven, Michael.”

Michael pulls away from his friend. “Can we continue our game?”

“Heck ya!” Jeremy unpaused the game and the two played happily for the rest of the day.
