Under Pressure - Queen

Eddie found a foot hold in the tree and started climbing. I was shocked at first that he actually agreed to climbing a tree, but quickly got over my shock and called for his attention.
"Okay Eddie, so you need to sit on top of the roof area outside of my window for a minute. I'll be right up."
Eddie nodded.
I wasn't quite sure why he didn't resist my plan to get him into the house without Freddie noticing. If Richie would have told him to climb a tree up to his window, I was positive he would have said something in retaliation. I wondered why he let me follow through with my plan. Shaking the thought, I walked to my front door, pushing it open.
"Hi Mom!" I hollered, pulling my shoes off my feet.
"Hi Brandy!" she called back to me from her reading chair in the living room.
I walked over to her, "hey, there's going to be a little get together at Stacy's tonight. Don't worry her mom will be there. I'm going to go. Is that all right?"
My mom smiled at me, only half listening to my lies of a 'small get together'. She was deep into her book, twirling a strand of her blonde hair with a finger.
"Yeah sure, Brand, you can go," she said, shooing me away.
I smiled and jogged up to my room.
I shut the door behind me and pushed open the window, sticking my head out to see Eddie looking down at the ground anxiously.
I smiled sweetly at him, "are you all right?"
Eddie jumped slightly, "shit, B, you scared me."
"I'm sorry. Is B my new name?"
Eddie smiled slowly, "yeah. I guess it is. It suits you."
I offered Eddie a hand to help him into my room, "I guess it does."
He quickly accepted my hand and pulled himself into my room.
He didn't let go of my hand for a second after he got in, making a quick eye contact with me.
Eddie quickly dropped my hand when I raised an eyebrow at him.
"So," I began, "what to wear."
I turned around and headed for my closet.
"I- I don't know," Eddie began, "why do you even have to change in the first place?"
I rolled my eyes, "because I'd look trashy rolling into a party like this."
"No you wouldn't. You'd look great!" Eddie exclaimed.
"Incorrect," I muttered, rummaging through my closet for something decent to wear.
I found a nice shirt that would work well with my jeans.
I turned to Eddie, "turn around."
He knit his eyebrows, "why?"
"So you can't see me change you perv!"
Eddie turned around so he was facing the wall and covered his eyes, "I'm not peaking I promise," he whispered.
I smiled broadly, "you better not be."
I swapped out my shirt and tucked it into a pair of high waisted blue jeans and cuffed the jeans at the bottom so they looked trendy and less baggy.
I walked up behind Eddie and tapped my finger on his shoulder, "you can turn now."
He whirled around quickly as I walked over to my vanity to apply a little bit more makeup.
