"Beer Hoe!" Richie ran up to me.

I rolled my eyes, "how many times have I had to tell you, Bitchie. I was named after the song not the beer.

"Shut up," he quickly silenced, starting to talk, "so you know how it's the beginning of April?"

I nodded. The winter had melted away into a pleasantly warm springtime. But of course, we were still stuck in school.

"And you know what's in the beginning of April..."

I raised my eyebrows, "uhh, what?"

"The mother fucking fair is at the beginning of April!" he boarder line yelled.

"Quiet down, Richie. We're at school! You can't just curse like that."

Richie rolled his eyes cupping his hands around his mouth.

"FUCK!" he yelled.

"SHIT!" a voice from down the hallway called.

"ASSHOLE!" called another.

Richie turned to me, a smirk on his face. "I can curse all I want, doll face," He said with a wink.

I laughed, "so what about the spring carnival."

Richie's smirk grew into a wide smile.

"I want to go tonight! It's it's first night it down and I wanted to let you know that you're going and have no choice."

"What if I don't want to do?" I retorted.

Richie scoffed, "I invited Eddie. You can't deny me."

I rolled my eyes, "all right. I'll be there."

"Great!" Richie exclaimed.

"We're meeting at Bev's at 7:00. Because her aunt is on a business trip.

I nodded and walked to my next period. Seventh period.

"Hey Brandy!" Lucas smiled at me.

"Hi Lucas," I smiled back at him.

"So, uh," he began, sounding nervous, "have you heard the fair is in town?"

I nodded, "yeah, I did. It comes every year."

Lucas had his full attention on me as I spoke.

"That's cool!" he began happily, "so, uh, are you planning on going?"

I nodded, "yeah. It's always fun to go."

"Well uh," he stammered on, "are you planning on going with anyone?"

"Richie just invited me to go with him and the other Losers tonight."

Lucas nodded, looking down, "oh. Okay. Well have fun! I'm thinking of going with my little sister tomorrow."

"Be safe!" Freddie called after me as I hopped out of his car.

"I will!" I hollered back at him.

Hopping up Beverly's front steps, I knocked on her door. She answered within seconds.

"Hey Brandy. You're the first here."

I waved goodbye to Freddie and stepped inside. Once I closed the door behind myself, he drove off to probably go make out with Kenzie.

I sat down on Beverly's couch, crossing my bare legs over themselves.
