Age: 18. Seniors in high school
"C'mon, Brandy. Pleeeease?" Eddie begged.
"Noooo! I'm not doing it!" Brandy said with a laugh. The (A/N: do you remember when it was) hot (in) September air hit her face.
"Pleeeeease, B? For me?" his eyes were filled with hope.
Brandy rolled her eyes, smiling at her boyfriend, "you're a real pain something, you know?"
Eddie held out his hand to her, hoping she would take it. Brandy grabbed Eddie's hand as he lead her towards his car. He had saved up all of his money to buy it, and was more proud of his car than anyone else in the world. It was a dumpy old car, but he called her Pam, and loved her almost as much as Brandy. But not quite as much.
Brandy sat in the passengers seat.
"Eddie," she said sternly, "this isn't a good idea. Our parents will be worried!"
"We won't be gone very long! I promise! You can call your mom as soon as we get there," Eddie assured her.
Brandy sighed, "all right. I guess we're driving to New Hampshire."
Eddie smiled widely and kissed her on the top of the head. They had nothing but the open road ahead of them. Hours and hours of driving to go.
When they finally arrived, Eddie quickly parked his car and ran to open up Brandy's door.
"C'mon!" he said, running up to the dorm.
"It's a good thing you're so damn cute or I wouldn't have agreed to come with you," Brandy grumbled.
"Well if I came without you it would seem weird!" Eddie retorted.
"It's weird either way, Eddie," Brandy laughed.
Eddie knocked on the dorm room door. The smile couldn't be wiped off of his face.
The door opened. A tall, muscular boy stood there, leaning against the door frame. A cigarette was dangling from his mouth.
He smirked when he saw Brandy, "you must be Fred's little sis." The young man's voice was deep. He looked to be Freddie's age.
Brandy nodded, "yep."
The boy smiled, "you look like him. Hi. I'm Scotty, Fred's roommate."
Scotty eyed Eddie up and down. Sometimes Brandy forgot that Freddie was popular. He wasn't just some nerd, but a total stud that could get laid by a different girl every night. It made her laugh when she thought about how he acted around other people versus how he acted around her and her family.
"And if you're Brandy," Scotty began, "you must be Eddie. With how highly Freddie speaks of you, I expected you to be more..." Scotty's sentence trailed off, "cool looking."
Eddie furrowed his eyebrows, "uh, all right then. Is Freddie here?"
Scotty shook his head, "no, but you're welcome to come in and wait for him."
Brandy nodded and walked into the dormitory. There were two tiny rooms separated by a little living area.
"That one's Fred's," Scotty pointed to one of the rooms. Eddie and Brandy nodded and walked into his little room, sitting on his bed.
"Are you excited to see your brother?" Eddie asked me.
Brandy nodded, "are you excited to see your boyfriend?"
