I woke up to Harry shaking me lightly.
"Hey, Caly? There's someone at your door. I don't want to open it so..." Harry said.
"That's fine, Harry. I'll get it," I responded.
I opened the door to find Louis standing behind it.
"Hey Louis! What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I was bored, so I decided to come here," he laughed.
Louis was bored and thought of a place to go, which was here. I'm glad Louis thought of me.
"Come in! Since your here, I have someone you should meet. Maybe we can all hang out-"
"Harry," Louis said with a scowl. He turned to me. "What is he doing here?" Louis asked.
"How do you two know each other? Harry and I are friends, Louis." I said.
"I'll go," Harry said.
"No, no one leaves," I said gaining some confidence. "What is wrong? I thought we could all be friends."
"Harry is not my friend," Louis said, "I'm leaving. Call me when your not with this asshole, Caly."
Louis leaves and slams the door shut. I turn to Harry,
"What was that all about?" I asked to Harry.
"Remember when I said there's a lot of personal stuff about me?" he asked.
"Yeah, I remember," I replied.
"Well, Louis is part of that."
"Oh. Well would you mind telling me? I would hate to see both of my friends fighting," I said.
Harry was hesitant for a second. I could tell that he was holding something back that is very personal to him. I would personally be very honored if he told me.
"If you don't want to tell me it's-"
"Caly, it's fine."
Harry patted the seat next to him, signaling me to sit down next to him.
"Before I moved from the UK, I had a reputation, a bad reputation. Louis had a fiancé. They had been together for four years and they were in the middle of planning the wedding," He said.
I nodded my head for him to continue.
"Before I say anything else, promise me you won't leave me," Harry said.
Like I said, I just got Harry and I don't plan on losing him.
"I promise, Harry."
"One night my mates and I got really wasted and I don't really remember anything that happened. But the next day, I woke up in a bed with Louis's fiancé. Louis ended up finding out and called off the wedding. We were best mates until that day. He's never talked to me since," Harry concluded.
"Harry."
I put my hand on his. He looks up at me with hopeful eyes.
"Thank you so much for telling me. I could tell that was a big part of your life, so really thank you for telling me. I don't think of you any differently. I just think it's time you and Louis made up," I say.
"He won't talk to me. I've tried, but he moved to here before we got the chance to make up," Harry said.
That's why Louis said he moved here for a fresh start. It all coming together now.
"Well I'm going to make you guys friends again. Friends are the most important thing for a person. It's time you make some more," I said to Harry.
Was that supposed to be for me or for Harry?
