Everyone looked at Niall and then at each other. No one knew what was going on or how Niall knew Hope. Niall stood there with his mouth open and mashed potatoes in hand. I was hoping, no, needed someone to break the silence between them. Usually I would be the one to break the tension, but this time I couldn't be the first one speak.

"H-hey Niall," Hope spoke after minutes of silence.

"Hey," Niall said avoiding Hope and sitting on the couch next to Harry.

I needed to find out what happened between them. I didn't want to ruin Halloween for everyone, so I let my curiosity roam until tomorrow.

"Let's all go change into our costumes now," I say trying to make the tension less.

I gave everyone their costumes and we each took turns changing into them. They each fit everyone perfectly. As people would say, we are squad goals.

"Everyone get ready!" Madison said bringing out her camera.

She snapped a picture of everyone sitting on the couch looking so confused.

"I told you guys to get ready!" She said while everyone laughed.

"Let's go take a picture," Harry whispered in my ear.

I kissed him in response, "There is nothing I want more right now."

He held my hand as we went in front of Madison's camera. Our first picture was a simple picture with my left arm around him and my right arm by my side. The second picture was of Harry kissing my cheek, while I smiled with a closed mouth and eyes. Harry turned my face and his lips kissed mine. I forgot we were taking pictures, but Madison was snapping away. Once we broke the kiss, Madison informed us that those were the best pictures and she will print them out later for us. I thanked her and we went to sit back down.

Everyone had their turn to take pictures. Niall and Madison's were just like ours. They truly were an amazing couple. Louis and Hope also took some pictures, but they seemed kind of awkward like they didn't know what to do. I feel like they didn't know each other too well or they weren't comfortable around each other, but it's not my place to judge. Madison put on the timer on her camera and we took a couple of group photos. We all truly did look amazing.

The doorbell sounded and that was my cue to get some candy and serve it to the little kids. I grabbed the bowl of candy and made my way to the door.

"Trick or treat," said the little boy and girl in front of me. They were dressed as Princess Ariel and Prince Eric. This was adorable.

"You guys look amazing! Here's your candy! Have a happy Halloween," I said.

Both of their eyes widened when they say the giant bucket of candy, "Thank you!" they said in unison.

I closed the door and laughed. Sometimes I wish I was that young again, but I didn't want to go back.

I looked up at the clock, it was 8 p.m. All of the kids usually stop trick-or-treating at 11 p.m. We've got a long three hours ahead of us.

I heard my stomach growl, so I made my way to the mashed potatoes Niall seemed to love so much. I looked at the bowl they were filled in and barely any was left. Niall must have eaten almost all of it. Thanks, Niall.

I put what is left on my plate, grab two forks, and sit down next to Harry. I knew Harry would be hungry, so I gave him the extra fork. We both started nibbling at our mashed potatoes when Hope stood up and walked up to Niall.

"Can we talk?" Hope whispered to Niall loud enough so everyone could hear.

"Yeah," Niall said leading her into my bedroom.
