"Louis? What about him? I-Is he alright?" I asked.
"Yeah, he's alright. He came home drunk and he's saying something about Harry Styles and you? I don't know. Can you just come over?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'm on my way."
I quickly grab my keys and run to the car. I hope Louis's not hurt. Niall texts me the address and I drive to their house. I finally arrive there and knock on the door.
"Hey, I'm glad your here," Niall says.
I step inside and look at my surroundings. Their place was really cute. It wasn't like a typical boy house. The walls were painted grey and the furniture matched. The house was very aesthetic.
"Where's Louis?" I asked.
"He's upstairs. I made him get in bed and drink some water."
"Yeah, that's probably the best for him right now," I said. "How badly was he drunk?"
"He won't remember anything from tonight tomorrow," Niall stated.
"So really badly?"
Niall nodded. He got me some water and placed it in front of me.
"Why was Harry Styles at your apartment?" His question caught me off guard.
"He's my friend. I told Louis the same thing."
"Did Louis tell you what Harry did to him?" Niall asked.
"Harry told me. It's awful, but Harry's changed. I can see it," I defended Harry.
"Why are you defending him?" Niall asked.
"Niall, we- um we kind of, kissed."
"You and Harry? Kissed?" He looked confused.
"Yeah, that's why I'm defending him. Because I like him," I told Niall.
"Does Louis know this?" Niall asked with worry in his eyes.
"No. I've only told Madison and now you."
"You need to stay away from Harry Styles. He's bad news, Caly," Niall said sternly.
"I like him, Niall. I can't really stay away from him. Besides, he's changed. He's so sweet and amazing. I want you guys to become friends again," I say.
"Become friend with Harry?" Niall laughs. "Louis and I would never. We never want to speak to that guy ever again."
"Please, Caly?"
"No, Niall. I won't stay away from Harry. I like him and you telling me he's bad news won't change that," I said gaining confidence.
"Sorry," Niall said softly.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go-"
"It's okay, Caly. I get it now."
I still felt bad. I didn't have to go off on him like that, but he shouldn't be telling me what to do. I'm 22 and I can make my own decisions. Even if Harry breaks my heart, at least I know that I'm the one to blame for it.
"Hey guys. What are you guys talking about?" Louis said stumbling down the stairs. "Harry Styles maybe? I still can't believe your with that kid, Caly."
"Louis, I think you should go back to bed," I said walking to help him up the stairs.
"I'm fine, Caly. Maybe you should go back to Harry, huh?"
"Louis, stop. I want you and Harry to try to become friends. Stop trying to fight him all the time," I said.
"Friends? I don't want anything to do with that asshole. My fiancé cheated on me with him! I never want to see his face," he grimaced.
"I'm going to make you guys friends again, whether you like it or not Louis."
He laughed, "Have fun trying, love."
He walked back up the stairs and hopefully we went to bed. I walked back over to Niall and took a sip of my water. I broke the silence after a while.
"How's you and Madison?"
"How do you know about us?" He asked.
"Madison's my best friend. She tells me everything."
"Okay, fine. We're doing good," he replied.
"Do you like her?" I asked.
"Yes," he smiled.
"Aw, cute," I returned the smile.
I'm glad that Niall likes Madison back. I'm glad she's happy. She deserves happiness after everything she's done for me. I would do anything to make her happy and I'm so relieved she finally has Niall.
"Do you think Louis is gonna be mad at me?" I ask.
"Honestly, I don't know. What Harry did was fucked up, but you guys are friends. I don't see why he couldn't forgive you."
"Thanks, Niall."
Niall asks me if I want to stay for dinner and I take him up on his offer. He goes into the kitchen, which gives me some time to take a closer look at their place.
There are pictures of Louis and Niall back in the UK. They are truly best friends. Louis has pictures of his mom and sisters, while Niall has some of his brother and friends. They both look like really amazing people. I'm so glad the world has brought us together.
"Dinner's ready, Caly," Niall says from the kitchen.
I sit down at the table and Niall puts the food right in front of me.
"Thanks, Niall."
He doesn't respond because food is already in his mouth. Man, this boy really does love food.
Dinner is soon over and I find myself leaving Niall and Louis's place. I have class tomorrow and I can't be tired.
I say my goodbyes to Niall.
"When Louis wakes up, tell him I'm sorry and I hope he feels better," I say.
Niall nods and waves me goodbye.
I hop in my car and buckle my seat belt. I was about to turn the radio on when I see a note on my steering wheel.
The Park. 7 p.m. tomorrow. -h
My stomach immediately did that jump, thing. I needed to figure out a way to describe it. The butterflies in my stomach were prominent. Harry wanted to meet up and I couldn't be more excited.
Trying to hide my excitement, I turn up the radio and hum to the melody of Lust for Life by Lana Del Ray. I drive to my apartment, wishing for tomorrow to come any quicker.
When I finally reach my apartment, I go straight to my bedroom. I change into some pajamas and get ready for school tomorrow. I didn't like school, but I had to tell Madison about what happened today after we had lunch.
Now that I think about it, I had never asked Niall and Louis where they went to college. Maybe they went to the same one as Madison and I do?
I didn't think Harry went to school. It didn't seem like something he did. Although, I don't know that much about him.
I lay down in my bed for the second time today. My eyes started to close, as sleep overcame me.
