"Last call for flight fifty two to London, England!" I hear over the intercom. Harry and I are at the gate, but I was so nervous to go inside.
Harry had to hold my hand the whole day here. He convinced the security guard that I couldn't go through security alone, so they let us go together. I have a feeling if they wouldn't have let us through together, Harry would have complained and made a huge deal about it.
"Are you ready?" Harry looks at me. I look at him then back at the gate. I knew I had to go, I couldn't back out now. If I told Harry I didn't want to walk into the gate, I know he would call off the whole trip. And I love him for that, but I can't hold him back. That wouldn't be right.
I look at him and try my best to sound confident as I speak, "Yes." Harry smiles and starts walking. Considering our hands are intertwined, I follow. I become more nervous with every step.
When we are about to get in the plane, I take a deep breath. Harry seems to notice and turns around, "Hey, its gonna be fine. You are so strong, I know you are. When I'm here, you don't have to be scared. I wouldn't let anything happen to you, you know that? If you don't want to go, we don't have to." Harry wraps his arms around my waist and looks down at me as I look up. Why is he so good at this?
"I want to go. I'm just nervous, but I know I shouldn't be. Thank you, Harry," I say calmer than before. Harry really does know how to calm me.
"I love you," Harry says with a smile. He kisses my forehead and intertwines our hands once more. I take a deep breath and look at Harry. He smiles at me and I take a step in the plane. I'm much calmer than I thought I would be.
"You okay?" Harry asks turning his head to me. I nod my head and keep walking. If I stop walking, I fear my nerves will come back. I smile at the pilot and sit down in my seat. I wanted the window seat and, of course, Harry let me have it.
I sigh and lean into Harry. He strokes my hair and tells me he's so proud of me. I'm proud of me, too. The flight attendant tells us all of the warnings and precautions and then the plane takes off. I close my eyes as hard as I could and squeezed Harry's hand. His arms were fully around me, making me feel protected. After we were finally in the air, I open my eyes again.
"Love, look out the window," Harry says almost laughing. I look to my left and I gasp. This is so beautiful. The land below me looks so small. All of the buildings are so tiny. This is the most magnificent thing I have ever experienced and I'm glad I get to experience it with Harry.
The whole plane ride, I was looking out the window. I pointed to things I found really cool and even though Harry has been on a plane multiple times, he pretends to be fascinated with me. He holds me in his arms the entire ride, which I'm thankful for. If it weren't for that, I don't think I could have made it two minutes on the plane.
When we were back on the ground, I was kind of sad the ride was over. I was having a great time. I could tell Harry was getting kind of sleepy though. I told him he could get some sleep, but he said he wanted to stay awake. I think he wanted to make sure I was okay the whole time, but he didn't tell me that.
We picked up our bags and Harry was right, the polka dot bag was easily spotted. Harry's mom called him and she told him she would be here in a couple of minutes to pick us up.
After my curious legs wandered around the airport for what seemed like forever, Harry's mom was here. My heart dropped. Was I ready to meet his mom? I've never been this nervous before.
As if Harry can read my mind, he said, "Don't worry, love. She already loves you. Just be yourself." I nodded and he took his hand in mine.
We walked out of the airport with our bags in hands and Harry spotted his mom. She was gorgeous. She had long black hair and a beautiful smile. I could see the resemblance in Harry.
"Hello, Mum," Harry said kissing his mom on the cheek. He bent over so he could hug her. Harry is so much taller than his mom, or mum as he calls her.
"H-Hi, Mrs. Styles. I'm Caly. It's great to-" I was cut off my Ms. Styles hands wrapping around my body.
"Thank you for taking care of my son and making him happy," she whispered into my ear as we hugged. That was a lot for her first words to me. I thought it was going to be something like 'I'm Mrs. Styles. Let's go back home now,' but instead, I was greeted with words of love.
"I love your son, Mrs. Styles," I say back. I'm not sure why I said that, but I think she needed to hear it. She needed for me to say it aloud to reassure herself that I'm not leaving Harry.
"I know," she says breaking the hug, "And, Caly, your part of the family now, so call me Anne." Part of the family? Wow, Harry really did mean I was going to be part of the family. I already love this woman.
I have never quickly loved someone, but ever since I met Harry love has come easily to me. This is Harry's mom, so yes. I love her. It's not that I have to love her. She has already shown me so much love that my heart loves her.
I plan of staying with Harry for the rest of my life and I'm glad this woman gets to be a part of that.
