This was scary, but now Harry is telling me things that I've always wanted to hear. He said he's always going to fight for me, and I've always wanted someone to just keep fighting for me no matter what. Losing people is my biggest fear and to hear Harry say that he's going to always fight for me makes my heart flutter.
I jump into his arms and squeeze him as tight as I could. "I love you," I say into his shoulder.
"I love you more," he says back.
I let go of him just to give him a kiss. The kiss lingers on longer than expected, but I didn't care.
We started to walk and enjoy London when Harry called a taxi. He said our next destination is coming up. Harry and I got in the taxi and waited until we arrived. Once we were finally there, I got out of the taxi and gasped.
We were at the Buckingham palace. It was even more beautiful in person. Harry watched me as I looked at the palace in awe.
I look at Harry and he is taking pictures of me on his phone. "Stop! Ah," I say turning my body around.
Harry walks over to me and turns me around, "Baby, take some pictures. You look beautiful."
Shit, he's perfect.
I turn back around and Harry takes what feels like one hundred pictures of me. He gets people to take our pictures. We took a normal one, a funny one, and one of us kissing. That one is my favorite.
"Alright, time for our next spot!" Harry says excitedly. I love that he's so excited to take me around his hometown. He's taken me to the best places, so I know that these unknown places are going to be amazing.
We take a cab back to Harry's car and now we are driving in his car going to the next place.
Harry gets out of the car and opens my door. I look around and we seem to be at a park. Harry opens his trunk and gets out a... basket?
"This is Hyde Park. It used to be my favorite place to go as a child. I used to run around over there and my sister would chase after me. We were so close." Harry starts smiling as he retells the good memories he has as a child.
"I love this place and hope you will, too." He says looking at me with hope.
"I already love it." It's true. I do. The park is so pretty and lovely.
"You hungry?" Harry says raising the basket he took out of the trunk. I giggle and nod. I can already tell this day is going to be one of the best.
Harry takes out a checkered blanket and lays it out on the green grass. I sit down as he takes out the sandwiches and fruits. "Turkey, strawberries, and pineapples. Your favorite."
"How thoughtful," I say smiling. Harry sits and motions for me to sit in his lap. I do as I am told and sit down in his lap. He feeds me a strawberry and I laugh.
"This is so weird," I say laughing.
"Isn't this what couples do? I've never done any of this before," Harry says taking my face in his hands.
"I haven't either. Being in England with you...it's a huge first," I say looking straight into his greens.
"Thank you for letting me be that first and a lot of firsts for you," Harry says meaning every word he says. He kisses me on the lips and lingers for more than expected.
After we were done, Harry grabs my hand and stands up, "Come on, I'm going to show you something."
"What about the picnic?" worrying about what happens if we just leave it here.
"No one is going to take it. Come on!" Harry says walking forward.
I follow Harry until he comes to a stop. He takes a deep breathe and smiles. I can tell he's remembering memories that happened in this spot.
"This is the last place I remember our whole family happy together."
Once Harry said that, I squeezed his hand and moved closer to him.
"My mum and Robin were sitting on that bench over there," Harry said pointing to a little brown bench. "I remember they were holding hands, like we are now, and they were watching Gemma and I play tag. Gemma and I were so happy. We didn't have a care in the world as we played tag and didn't know what was to come for us," Harry said as his eyes got glossy. I hugged Harry tightly. I wanted him to know he still has a family with me and Anne and Gemma. Even though Robin is gone, doesn't mean he's not watching over Harry and his family, well my family.
"This place is so special to me, which is why I wanted to take you here." I let go him and put my hand in his hair. I can tell he needs some comforting right now.
"Thank you for taking me here and telling me that story. It's so beautiful just like this place. I know Robin isn't here anymore, but in a way he is here. He's watching over you and he's proud. I know he is," I say trying my best to give harry the comfort he needs.
"Thank you, Caly." He kisses my forehead.
"Come on, let's go get that picnic before someone eats all of the pineapple!" I grab Harry's hand and walk in front of him.
"I don't deserve you," Harry whispers to himself. I'm not sure I was supposed to hear that, but I don't respond anyways.
That's the second time he's said that to me. Does he really think that he doesn't deserve me?
We arrive back at the picnic and Harry and I end up eating all of the food. Being out in England all day made me hungry, I guess.
Harry cleans up the picnic and stands up.
"Come on, I've got more places to show you."
