November 16th, 2014.

Lauren's POV.

Its been about 2 and a half months since I've talked to my mother or crane. I've prayed each night crane wouldn't take me away from my saving grace, camila.

Camila has been here for me in these months like I've been here for her. Her belly had blossomed out as ever and she looks like she's ready to burst.

Today I told her I'm going to wash my car but actually I'm going to shop for a engagement ring.

Today, it finally hit me, I don't want anybody else to have camila. I want her to be mine forever.

I walk into "Stevens jewelry store" and start to look over the glass cases. So many sparkly items catch my eye.

But one fully catches my eye.

A man dressed up walks towards me. I assume he's a salesman.

"And that there is a diamond engagement ring. 1/4 carat tw 10k white gold." He speaks while opening up the glass case an taking it out.

I reach out my hands while he places it in the center of my palm.

"How much?" I look up into his eyes.

He looks down at the multiple price tags pressed against the bottom of the counter.

"700 dollars." He looks up.

I think for a second.

"I'll take it! Size 7." I say

And he takes it out and rings me up.
