The freezing air hit my face, whipping my hair backwards. Who knew how long we'd been driving. I shivered and pressed my cheek on Daryl's back, his body immediately warming up.

"We should- we should look for the others," I shouted as I pushed myself off him.

"Daryl!" I shouted as he ignored me and continued to drive. "Stop the bike!"

He huffed as he pulled the bike over, killing the engine.

"What?" He craned his neck to look at me.

"The others," I climbed off. "We should head back, we can't be the only survivors."

"Ye' don't even care about them," he glared at me.

"What the hell makes you think that?" I stared him down.

"Ye just disappeared, made everyone go crazy looking for ye. Ye even said ye were going to leave us," he spat as he got off his bike, getting in my face.

"Because Shane tied me up asshole!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands out.

His face paled at that. "What?"

"Oh please, don't act like you give a shit," I spotted a lone muerto approaching us. "Besides, did you really think I'd leave without saying goodbye? Without any of my shit?"

"Did he hurt ye?" he softly asked, not looking me in the eyes.

"No, just left me for the muertos," I sighed. "Daryl, please, let's go look for the others."

"We don't even know if anyone survived."

Carol. I closed my eyes and hugged myself at the memory.

"What is it?"

"C-Carol." I whispered, not looking at him.

"Sophia?" He asked after a second of silence.

"Carol said she got away," I shook my head. "Let's just- let's just go back."

He paused but nodded and turned the bike on and I hopped behind him. Before I can stabilize myself he speds off and I shriek, wrapping my arms around his waist, causing him to tense up.

"Sorry," I whispered, pulling myself away.

He doesn't respond as we keep going.

We later turned across a semi sharp turn and then I heard it. The roar of the others on the other side of the road.

"Over there!" I pointed and he turned the bike to the cars, passing the others up and we led the group.

We pulled up to the highway where Sophia must've gotten separated from the group in the first place, and we spotted Hershel, Rick and Carl.

We pulled to a stop and I got off, bringing in Carl for a soft hug.

"I-I'm so sorry, I thought you were right behind us," Rick apologized.

"It's okay, but next time you leave me for dead, I better be dead," I joked and Lori ran out T-Dogs hug, pulling both from me.

Everyone cried as they were reunited with their loved ones and then I hear Sophia.

"Where's my mom?"

I closed my eyes, feeling the tears surface, how the hell would I tell her? This would change her, destroy her.

"Sophia," I whispered, kneeling to her level. "Sophia, listen..."

"No," she shook her head, pushing herself away from me but I grabbed her hand.
