Maddie's POV

Hindi ko mapigilan ang luha ko.

This is the exact reason as to why I would want to have a low profile just so I can be invisible from the judgemental people.

I never have imagined that I will be called a cheater! Not after all I have gone through. That's the last thing I will ever do.

Alam ko na hindi naman totoo na kami ni Ethan but still, I respect him enough to know what is the right thing to do.

'I'm really sorry Maddie!' I can see his worried face

'Sorry for what?' Singhal ko pabalik sa kanya

'Sorry for I have been a jerk.' Sagot ulit ni Ethan. He sounded shy which is sooo not him

I did not reply to what he said. I hope he gets that I want him to continue talking

'I thought....hmmm.. i t-thought you and Tyrone are back together.' Nahihiya niyang sagot

'What made you think that?' I asked. Nakakainis na ganun ang iniisip niya

'Venice sent me a txt last friday. She said she saw you and Tyrone. She even sent me pictures as proof.'

'I thought the reason why you do not want me to take you home is because you have a plan with Tyrone and I am so sorry that I thought of it that way.' He said sincerely

'What made you think otherwise then?' I asked

'I saw Tyrone earlier at the gym. He said something to me which made me realize that you did not get back together.' He explained.

'What did he say?' I asked curiously

'Just something. He said something that made me realize that you 2 are not back together. What he said isn't important.' He explained

'I'm really sorry Maddie. Can I make it up to you?' He asked

'It's okay. I should be saying sorry too.' I am upset with Ethan, yes but that doesn't excuse me for breaking one of the rules on our contract.

'What for?' He asked

'I know we have agreed that I shouldn't be going out with any other men and yet I did. I just think that me and Tyrone really needed to talk. Now we did and that's the end of it but if you would like to break the deal because of that, I would unders..' he did not let me finish.

'Hell no. of course not. I understand why you needed to talk to him and that's fine with me. Allow me to make it up to you, okay? Dinner?' He offered.

'S-sure.' I said.

'Let's just leave your car here and I'll take you home after,' he offered.

'Eh? How can I get to school tomorrow?' I asked. I do not want to wait for him again and end up commuting if he wouldn't show up

'I promise that I will pick you up tomorrow.' Itinaas pa niya ang right hand nia as a sign.

Tinawanan ko si Ethan cause he looks so serious and hinawakan ko ang kamay niya para ibaba.

'Let's go na.' I said

Surprisingly, hindi binitawan ni Ethan ang kamay ko while we walk towards his car. I looked at our hands and surprised na hindi ako nakakaramdam ng pagkailang.

He is also smiling which is odd since from how I knew him, that's something he doesn't oftenly do.

Pagdating naming sa sasakyan ni Ethan, nakita naming sina Nick na nakaabang.

'Uuuuy. Bati na sila.' Asar ni Nick

'Shut up!' sagot ni Ethan sa kanila


'Where did you run to earlier Brotha?' tanong ni Marcus sa kanya.

'I went to look for my girl.' Sagot nia.

Alam ko naman na fake girlfriend land ako but the way he said 'my girl' made me feel good inside. Kinikilig ako promise.

Kalma Maddie. Kalma.

'ang tamis tamis naman samantalang kanina sabi mo mambababae ka na!' sagot naman ulit ni Nick.

'Uy bruh. Enough' saway naman sa kanya nung Mac

Ahh may balak pala mambabae na tong lalaking to.

'Oh. Was that your plan? You can go ahead and continue. I won't mind.' Nilingon ko si Ethan

'Of course not. I did not say that.' Naka depensa naman agad si Ethan

'hala! Sabi mo pa nga sasama ka na sa amin mag party party eh.' Sagot naman ulit ni Nick

'Yeah I said that but I never said I'll pick up girls. I'm nothing like the 3 of you.' Sagot ulit ni Ethan

Tiningnan ko lang si Ethan. Hinatak na niya ako papunta sa sasakyan niya. Pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto. Nagstay pa si Ethan sa labas while talking to the rest of the guy though I cannot hear them cause the door is already closed.

Nang makapasok na si Ethan sa loob ng sasakyan.
'Ethan, you can go with your friends to attend parties, you know. That isn't part of the rules anyway.' Bungad ko sa kanya

'I know.' was his only response. He then started the car and we went on our way. To where? I have no idea.

Ethan seemed to be focus on driving so I did not bother speaking to him. I thought about his earlier statement. Alam niya na pwede siya mag party party. Syempre hindi naman maiiwasan na lapitan sya dun ng mga babae. Sana lang hindi sila magkita ni Tyrone para naman hindi ako magmukhang kawawa sa mata niya.

'You alright?' Tanong sa akin ni Ethan
'H-huh?' hindi ko siya masyadong naintindihan kasi nga pre-occupied ako

'I'm asking if you are alright. You are so quiet.' Sagot niya pero sa daan pa din ang mata

'y-yeah. I'm okay. I just thought you wanted to focus on driving

'Hahaha. Is that how you drive?' tanong niya

'y-yeah. Syempre. I am alone most of the time anyway and it'll look weird if I talk to myself. Right?' I answered sarcastically

'Hahahaha. You are funny. Anyway we are here.'

He parked across a cozy looking restaurant.

When we got in at Van Gogh is bipolar restaurant here in QC.

I have heard of this restaurant a lot of times but have not been in here.

I would describe it as a beautiful disaster. It is messy, but a beautiful kind of messy. Like it is meant to be that way and wouldn't be the same if everything will be in place.

We ordered our food and then talked about random things while we were waiting for our food.

Ethan asked me about the photos I have on my IG account. I explained that I used to model in CDO. Mostly for local magazines and print ads.

He asked me if I have a plan to audition for modelling agencies here in Manila and I said that I am not interested for now as I would like to enjoy having a simple life.

'Is that also the reason why you dress so simply?' Tanong ni Ethan sa akin

'I think this is only proper. Would you want me to be wearing a gown to school?' Sagot ko naman

'Tss, That smart mouth strikes again.' Ang naisagot niya habang pailing iling

Masaya kami naguusap ni Ethan. It feels as if there is no longer any awkwardness between the 2 of us. Which is odd kasi hindi kami talaga magkakilala but everything feels light.

Napansin ko na lang na nakatitig sa akin si Ethan.

'What?' Natatawa kong tanong sa kanya

'Beatiful.' He said dreamily

'Huh?' Tanong ko ulit sa kanya

'Uhm, what I mean is this place is really beautiful. Don't you think?' sabi niyang medyo nauutal pa

'Hahaha. Yes it is beautiful.' Pagsangayon ko naman

'Why do your parents think you are gay?' tanong ko sa kanya

Mukhang nagulat siya sa tanong ko.

I wouldn't think Ethan is gay. He is indeed handsome. He looks so manly and all. I can't see why her parents and friends would think of him as such.

'To tell you honestly I am not sure. I am just not a fan of girls in general I think. Since I am like 3 years old I think, girls have been chasing after me, which I find pathetic.' Pagpapaliwanag ni Ethan

'Tss. Conceited.' Pangaasar ko sa kanya

'I don't think I am conceited. I just think that girls shouldn't be acting that way. They all go for looks. They don't know me enough to say that they will offer themselves to me.' He said seriously

'I get your point actually. Not all girls are the same though.' Pag depensa ko naman sa aming lahi. Haha

'I know. You are a living testament to that. Clearly you are not drawn with this face.' Sabay kindat pa nia

'or maybe you are just pretending.' And he effing smirked at me

'You wish!' inirapan ko nga ang mokong

'Just make sure that you guard your heart Maddie. Cause after these 100 days, I do not want to see you weeping cause you have fallen in love with me.' And he looked so damn serious

'Hai Ethan. Ambot sa imo lubot!' I just find what he said so unbelievable. I stood up and started to walk out.

"Hey Maddie!' I can hear him calling after me. Nakasunod din naman siya sa akin.

"I am just kidding.' Natatawang sabi ni Ethan

'Ewan ko sayo' Hinampas ko nga sa dibdib. Sinalo ni Ethan ang kamay ko and he looked straight into my eyes while holding my hand.

'I am kidding when i said about you crying but I am serious Maddie when I say don't fall in love with me. Okay?' He said seriously

Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya but he is waiting for my response.

'I don't think that's something you have to worry about Ethan. I don't have plans on falling for you. Sooooo walang iiyak.' I assured him.
