100 DAYS OF YOU (A MAYWARD STORY)

Part 59

After dinner, everyone decided to cut the night early as we still have things to do by tomorrow.

Everyone already went inside their tents but me and Ethan is still sitting on the folding chairs just outside my tent. Holding hands while watching the night sky together.

'Sooooo' panimula ni Ethan.

'Are we now official?' Ethan asked, with his teasing eye brows.

'Ha? Eh hindi mo pa nga ako nililigawan. Tayo na agad?' I pretended to have this worried look on my face.

'Do I even have to?' He said a bit defensively.

'You are too comceited.' Hinampas ko si Ethan sa braso.

'No I am not. I'm only being real.' He looked at me and when I thought he will say something serious he said.....

'I like it when you kiss me.' He is trying to mimic my voice and my facial expression when I said those words.

'I also like the way you look at me.' He continues.

Oh God! I cannot see him like this. This is too embarassing.

'I also like that you are sometimes suplado and sweet at the same time.'

I bowed down and covered my face with my hands. Jeez. Did I really say that?'

He grabbed the hands that is covering my face and continued. But this time, he used his own manly voice 'And above all, I Like You.' Then he gave me a peck on the lips which made me smile.

'See? Why do I still need to court you?' He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and let me scooch over like a cocoon beside him. My head is in his shoulders and his lips on my head.

'I will court you everyday even after being official. I couldn't risk not being entitled to you especially Tyrone being around.' Ethan said. I can feel his lips moving on my forehead everytime he speaks.

'He is not someone that you have to be threatened with.' Pagsigurado ko naman sa kanya.

'Oh I am not threatened at all. I just don't want him being around.' He said a bit confidently.

'He's a friend Ethan. Even before we got into a relationship, we were already friends.' Pagpapaliwanag ko kay Ethan. Tyrone is dear to me. Kahit may mahal na akong iba alam ko that what we had will always a part of me.

'Whatever. I don't want him anywhere near you. End of.'

I know I wouldn't win that discussion so I didn't try to make sense.

'How about Mom and Dad?' Tanong ko sa kanya.

'What about them?' Takang tanong ni Ethan. Mukhang wala syang balak sabihin sa magulang ko ah.

'About us. How would I tell them?' I know that they both have been wanting this but it will still be a surprise kapag sinabi kong kami na dahil wala namang ligawang naganap.

As if reading what's on my mind, he said 'Oh, I already asked their permission to court you before. So I don't think it will still be a surprise when they knew that we're now together.'

'You did? When?' Ang dami ng nililihim sa akin ng magulang ko ah, pati na din si Ethan.

'The day when I picked you up and Tita Lorrie asked me to have breakfast the first time.' He said. Di ko na matandaan exactly kelan yun but I guess thats what gave my parents the reason to tease me everyday after that.
