Like what we have agreed upon. Laureen picked me up from home and we went together to school.

'Bakit di daw papasok si Ethan.' Tanong ko kay Laureen. Nakatulog naman kasi sya halos buong byahe.

'He's still tired and said that he'll do something later.' Sagot naman nito. Medyo may pagtataka sa tingin ni Laureen sa akin. Probably wondering why I didn't know the answer to my question.

'Sistah, if Ethan is being a little stubborn, can you bare with him a bit more?' Pakiusap niya. Siguro akala niya nagkatampuhan kami ni Ethan.

'Oo naman. Sus. Mas sya nga ang dapat magpasensya sa akin kasi parang mas matigas ulo ko.' I don't want them to think that Ethan is being a burden to me.

'Just know that he is trying, yeah? Like what I said before, Ethan never had a girlfriend. He is not used to having a girl around us or him other than family. I know you are his girlfriend and all and I can see that he really really likes you Mads so please extend a bit more of your patience with him. Cause I have never seen him like this before.' Mahabang pakiusap ni Laureen.

'Seen him like what?' I turned to her to ask about what she's trying to say.

She smiled and said 'Happy. I have never seen him this happy.'

Naku Laureen kung alam mo lang na all of this is a plot baka ikaw pa ang magsabi sa akin to leave tour brother alone but I really appreciate all these words coming from Laureen and her parents. Wanting me to extend my patience with Ethan makes me think that they wanted me to stick around for long.

All I can say is sorry. We only got a month or so left and yes, it breaks my heart every day that we get nearer that day.

We arrived at school and parted ways cause she have different class schedules today than I am.

When I got into the room, nandun na ang mga friends ni Ethan. I can still remember that very first time we've had an interaction. Nagaagawan kami sa isang upuan. Now, we already have our seating areangement and he settled at the seat given by Marcus the first time.

'Maddie, si Ethan?' Tanong sa akin ni Nick

'Hindi kayo sabay pumasok?' Si Mac

'Will he be coming in?' Si Marcus

'Woah. Woah. Hold up. Isa isa lang please.' Natawa ako sa mga kaibigan nito dahil para bang kung anong nangyari kay Ethan kung makahanap.

'Ai sorry. Pero asan nga sya?' Si Mac.

'He can't come. Napagod daw sabi ni Laureen pero sabi niya pupunta sya dito mamaya. Okay na?' Pangaasar ko sa kanila.

'Aaah eh bat napagod? Ikaw siguro no?' Tanong ni Nick. I may not have any experiences but I am no innocent. Na ah.

'Oo ako nga.' Sabi ko naman just to ride on.

'Hala ano ginawa niyo?!' Mulat na mulat na matang tanong ni Mac. Obviously he's playing along.

Gusto ko pa sanang sakyan ang kung anu mang iniisip nila but I chose not to. Baka kung san pa mapunta. 'Magdamag kasing tumatakbo sa isip ko eh.' Sagot ko na lang para maibaling ang usapan.

'Tsk! Kaya pala naging masyadong cheesy sa IG si Ethan kagagawan mo eh.' Mac pouted and pointed at me as if I was the one to blame.

'Oh no! I do not have anything to do with that. That's all him.' I pushed back Mac's finger that he pointed at me. Hindi ko nga din alam kung anong nasa utak niya at panay post niya.
