I was shocked sa ginawa ni Ethan. Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko.

It was just a plain kiss. A peck on the lips. No mouth and tounge action.

But it was great. Cause behind that kiss I felt Ethan's sincerity. I am not sure what was the kiss for though.

Is it still just for show? Eh wala naman nakakakita sa amin dito.

'S-sorry.' Mukhang nagulat din sya sa nangyari.

Anong isasagot ko? It's fine? So ibig sabihin okay lang sa akin na hinalikan niya ako.

'Can you take me home now. Please?' Ang tanging naisagot ko.

The whole ride we didn't talk. It feels awkward. I don't know what to say, so I just stares outside of the window.

I didn't notice na nasa tapat na pala kami ng bahay ko.

'Maddie, we're here.' Tawag ni Ethan sa atensyon ko.

'Oh okay. Thanks.' Bababa na sana ako ng sasakyan ng bigla niyang hawakan ang kamay ko

'Will you be alright?' He asked. I can see the concerned look on his eyes

'Yeah. I'll be fine.' Tipid akong ngumit sa kanya

'Text me or call me anytime you want okay? If you need someone to talk to. Just please. Let me know.'

'Yes. Thanks again.'

I watched as Ethan drove away.

Hay. Sana nga magawan ni Ethan ng paraan.

I went straight to my room. When my mom asked me to come down for dinner, I did not.

I do not have the energy to do anything as of the moment.

I am not sure if Ethan headed back home. He did not text me if he did.

I got a few texts from my friends asking me if I was okay. I just sent them a smiley face. That's all that I can do for now.

Sana paggising ko okay na ang lahat.

I decided to sleep. Para mapahinga naman ang utak ko.

But then after a few minutes or hours, I am not sure. I suddenly felt at ease. I felt as if someone is watching over me.

Without opening my eyes, bumaling ako sa kabilang side ng bed but the uneasiness didn't go away.

I opened my eyes and reached for my phone. Alas 10 palang pala.

'Hi.'

'Bushak!' Na itsa ko ang cellphone ko sa gulat at agad agad tumingin sa likod ko.

Oh! That was all the uneasiness came from.

I saw Ethan sitting near my study table. His gaze towards me.

'Anong ginagawa mo dito?' Nagtataka kong tanong

'I have been calling you and texting you but you did not reply.' Sagot niya

It reminded me na nahulog nga pala ang phone ko so I reached for it.

Confirmed. 18 missed calls. 20 messages.

'Hala sya! Hindi ba pwedeng natutulog kaya hindi sumasagot?' I asked sarcastically

'Yeah. So I called Tita Lorrie, she said you looked tired and did not even eat dinner. So I came.'

Ai sus naman talaga si Mommy. Pati ang hindi ko pagkain na ireport agad.

Sinimangutan ko lang si Ethan.

'Look at you! You are too skinny not to eat. Here.' May iniabot sya sa aking paperbag

'What's this.' I asked him with raised brow

'Food obviously.'

'Eat.' He said authoritatively

'I'm not hungry.' Ibaba ko sana ang abot niyang pagkain

'I said eat!' Woah! How many shades does Ethan have? I did not know that he can be this controlling

Nagbuntong hininga na lang ako at mukha namang hindi sya titigil hangga't hindi ako kumakain.

He watched me eat and when I am done. He asked me to grab my phone.

I looked at him surprised.

'How'd you do it?' I asked

'I told my dad about it. He got angry. Really angry. He contacted his friends who he know that can make it happen and that's it.' He smiled at me.

Dahil sa sobrang saya ko napayakap ako kay Ethan.

'Thank you so much Ethan.'

'Hey! Hey! It's okay. I told you right? I'll take care of it.' He was stroking my hair

'Ang swerte swerte siguro ng magiging totoong girlfriend mo. Ako nga na fake girlfriend mo pa lang sobra na yung nagawa mo para sa akin, ano pa kaya yung totoo.'

'Hahaha. No one wouldn't want to be my girlfriend.' Natatawa niyang sagot

'Hala bakit naman? You are handome, rich, sweet, athletic, strong and many more. Who wouldn't like to be your girlfriend? Who wouldn't like you.' I asked

Napatingin sa akin si Ethan.

'Well, would you?'

Boom! Sa akin bumalik ang tanong.

Totoo naman yung mga sinabi ko tungkol sa kanya kahit pa nung una super nakakainis sya.

'H-huh? E-eh b-bakit ako ang t-tinatanong mo?' Medyo na awkward ako sa tanong niya. Nagkanda utal utal na tuloy ako

'You said no one wouldn't like me, yeah? So does that include you?' Pangingisi niyang tanong

Nahampas ko si Ethan sa kakulitan niya. 'H-hai naku Ethan! Umuwi ka na nga. It's late.'
Ayaw ko ngang sagutin ang tanong niya. Isipin pa niga may gusto ako sa kanya.

'Answer my question first then I will leave. Yes or No?' Umupong muli si Ethan. He is enjoys putting me on the spot.

Napabunting hininga na lang ako.
'OR' sagot ko.

'What do you mean OR?' Tanong niyang muli. Ang hina naman nito hindi maka gets.

'You asked me if YES OR NO. So my choice is Or.' I crossed my arms while Answering

'What does Or even mean?' Nagtataka niyang sagot.

'Something in between!' I said

Napangiti si Ethan sa sagot ko.

'Clever! Okay, something in between is good for now.' Tumayo na sya at palabas na ng pinto

'Ethan!' I called habang lumapit sa kanya

'Yeah?' Lumingon syang muli sa akin and we almost bumped at each other

'Thanks again.' I said sincerely.

Hinalikan nia ako sa ulo. 'Goodnight Mary Dale.'

Then he left.
