'Happy Birthday!'

I have been awaken by people screaming and with kisses all over my face !!

i sat down while scrubbing my eyes, trying to recognize who these people are disturbing me from my soundless sleep

'Hey! what's with that face? aren't you happy to see us?!'

Though her face isnt't clear i can recognise her voice very well. Like very very well!

'You know I do not have my contact lenses Mom!' i said irritatingly.

'we missed you!' she said sweetly.

oh well i missed her too so i hugged her tightly and kissed her cheek.

I stood up to kiss my dad too.

'Happy Birthday buddy!' Dad said.

'Thanks Dad!' I replied and hugged him too.

I am close to my parents. we talked about anything and everything!

'Get ready now son! Let's celebrate your special day!' Dad said.

'Be ready in an hour, we'll wake up your sister first' Mom said and both of them left the room.

My Day is currently based in Germany but he travels so much as required by his business. My Mom stays with him but if he's being required to travel to other countries my Mom goes back here in the Philippines to check on me and my older sister Laureen.

My Dad is British and my Mom is a Filipina. They met while my Mom was studying in Manchester and yeah, the rest is History.

We used to live in Germany until I was about 14 years old. Since my Mom would also like us to experience the life in the Philippines, they have decided to send us here to get to know our roots.

I went inside the bathroom to take a shower and prepare for today's celebration. I am sooo glad that my parents are here to celebrate with me but i know that they will be bugging me again after today.
