"He got engaged today," she smiles at me, but she's heartbroken. "He asked me last week if I was ok." She sighs laying on my lap.

"Why didn't you tell him the truth babe?" I pout and she shrugs.

"He's my brother, and I love him, so I'll learn to love her." She nods while I play with her hair, she's so stressed and with all that's been happening I don't wanna stress her out more, I just wanna comfort her. So I'm not gonna talk to her about today being the mark of six weeks, she can go back when she's ready.

"That's very sweet of you, I'm sure he'll appreciate it." I kiss her forehead, massaging her head.

"If Aaliyah said she was getting married?" She questions earning herself a shaky nod. "And you hated the guy, would you tell her? Or would you lie to protect her feelings?" I swallow hard trying to ignore the thought that my sister will eventually get married.

"I'd probably lie to her," she nods against my legs while I start again only trying to prove her decision was wrong. "Because I care. But not a day would pass where I didn't regret it, where I wouldn't wonder what would've happened if I had told her the truth. He's engaged now, and it's too late, but tell him that you don't like her. Or invite them both for dinner as a celebration of their engagement. I'll cook for them, we can even get the spare room all done up so they can spend the night, if they're willing."

"Thank you," She smiles pressing her lips up against mine. "I'll call him now," she smiles hugging me while I go to start finding sheets and whatever else for the spare room. "My boyfriend and I were thinking you and Louise could come over?" I can hear her soft voice, the sweet sweet pleat for her brother to agree. "Weston?" She pleads softly. "Well, sure James can come, but," she stops suddenly. "Of corse I do he's my brother. Alright I'll call him, bye." She sighs ending the call.

"Is everything alright?" I smile peeking around the corner.

"Just that my brothers are both coming," she sighs softly shutting her eyes. "Only one of them has their girlfriend and the other is single so he'll be all over us, with the questions, but he's the nicer one." She whispers with a smile. "So he'll just tease us a lot. Weston though," she breaths a long sigh. "He's harder to please, and he's never ok with my friends or anything of the sort." She hugs me tightly.

"It'll be fine, what's the worst that could happen?" I roll my eyes.

"You're crazy," she shakes her head against my shoulder. "And you can be a real doormat sometimes, but I think it's cute." She kisses my cheek. "But when my brother comes, you've gotta be firm and assert your place, show your dominance." I nod at her worry kissing her forehead softly.

"It'll be fine babe, you know how good I am at being a bitch." I smile as does she.

"You are really good at that," she giggles sliding out of my arms.

"You're supposed to deny it and tell me how great I am." I roll my eyes while she heads towards the closet grabbing some more sheets for the other bed. "I'll do it babe," I smile grabbing the sheets to make the bed.

"Thanks," She smiles, sitting on the rocking chair in the corner, I've had it for a while and I was gonna move it into what would've been the nursery. "I can't wait to rock a baby to sleep in this chair," she smiles cradling the air.

"Me too, have bonding time with my baby." I smile pulling my shirt off making her smile.

"You don't have to be so subtle, I get it." She teases making me smile.

"I'm hot," I shrug and her eyes roll.

"You don't have to tell me that," she kisses my shoulder blades.
