Their wedding day // May 28
I've been panicked all day trying to get myself together. I hope he likes the dress, and my hair and makeup and just everything, I've worked so hard, so has he And this wedding just needs to be perfect. We had a rehearsal a couple of days ago and it was beautiful and I want this to be the same. Daisy and Skylar are my flower girls and Jaxon is the ring barer. Daisy is throwing daisies and walking ahead of Skylar and Jackson, Skylar is throwing an assortment of white and purple flower petals to compliment my dress. My hearts never beat so fast and my hands shaken so much. "You look beautiful mama," Skylar smiles giving me a big hug.
"Do you like your dress baby girl?" We bought her a new dress, the dress she said she wanted, she didn't even want one from a bridal shop.
"Yes mama, I love it." She smiles kissing my cheek lightly so she doesn't ruin my makeup. "It's so pretty," she giggles the car is stationed, the only reason she's hugging me.
"Come on, it's time." Aaliyah has Noah in the front with her while we prepare to be wed. Weston is officiating because I wanted someone close to us, he's writing an original speech and today with be the first day we hear any of it.
"It's time?" She gasps her little eyes go soft. "I'm so happy mama, this makes me so happy!" She squeals she's so torn between wether or not to kiss me because of all my makeup. "I can't wait!" She giggles sliding out when her cousins tell her too.
"Let's go," my parents smiles while we watch the kids start throwing the flowers we follow and I start down the isle I wear a veil but it doesn't cover my face. I look towards my soon to be husband who's started crying at my sigh, his hands shake really badly. I'm just as nervous, I know how he feels. "Take good care of her," my dad smiles, he likes Shawn, my mom doesn't. She gives him a death glare but we're about to be married, I couldn't care less.
"Friends, family." My hands are held in the shaking hands of the love of my life, but within seconds it's not only his hands shaking.
"Shawn," I gasp a little while he falls to the ground. Another seizure, he must've been stressed about something and it pains me to think it was the wedding. I completely understand though, he has the right to be stressed, it's a lot. "Call an ambulance!" I squeal watching the foam pour out of his mouth, this has only happened once before, when we found the nail in his brain. "Call an ambulance!"
...
I smile at his open eyes, we were married within the half hour he was awake. He just had a nap, and I'm not sure if he remembers. His mom read his vows for him because he couldn't and he was really sad. He had them memorized and I know he did but he can't speak either. "Are you hungry?" I smile weakly trying to reach the buttons on the dress that slips every time I try to take it off. "Say something?" I beg a little, he couldn't even say I do. We were wed in this vary room and Skylar's never cried to much. Our parents brought them home hoping Shawn wouldn't be here long.
"Beautiful," he smiles, I can see his struggle with the words and I smile letting a tear slide down my cheek.
"Thank you, you looked gorgeous too," he tries to fake his hurt but he can't as well as he could a few hours ago. "You still look gorgeous." I chuckle going back to fiddling with the buttons.
"Here," a male sounding voice offers. "There you go, all unbuttoned." I turn to look at him. He smiles at me and I smile back just to be friendly.
"Let's get you fed," I nod at my husband who looks very angry at he man behind me. I plant a soft kiss against his lips and pray that the man will leave. I wait until the door clicks shut to pull away. "Thank god," I chuckle dropping the dress to the floor going for Shawn shirt, one that my mom dropped off after going home to collect the things I'd requested.
