I line his face with kisses, he'll be awake soon. We had an amazing night, and when we got home I was completely hammered. We were both so relaxed and excited and we were having some much fun, and then he had a seizure. It took me about a minute to figure it out, but I did call an ambulance, and thank god there was one close. "Good morning," I smile brushing my thumb against his cheek. "How are you feeling?" My legs rest against his and he touches them softly. His large hand grazes up and down squeezing my thigh.

"I'm tired," he hums pulling me closer. His arm snakes around my waist and his eyes close again I put my head over top of his. "Why am I in a hospital gown." He mumbles, his head laying against my shoulder.

"It happened again," I whisper we've been waiting for his parents to come in. The hospital staff has been monitoring him closely as well as checking on my hangover. I've been congratulated on multiple occasions by every doctor for being able to call the ambulance drunk.

"Did you have fun?" He whispers. "Last night? Did we get through everything I wanted to?"

"Yes, we did. And then a half hour later you,"

"It's ok, I'm happy as long as we got through it." I chuckle at him. "I can't remember it, how did it go?" He smiles licking at my neck.

"How can you not remember?" I gasp a little. "I'm offended." I kiss his lips and he shudders.

"Wow," he chuckles. "You even got my lips all bruised." He chuckles.

"I got everything." I whisper looking over towards the door, his parents will be in any second with our daughter. "And so did you," I moan against his cheek.

"Are you all bruised, covered in love bites?" He giggles at the words and squeezes me.

"I thought you were tired?" I roll my eyes at him.

"Not so much anymore." He smiles opening his shut eyes but wincing at the light.

"Just keep your eyes closed for now," I hum kissing his forehead.

"We've gone through too much," he kisses me softly. "You can't leave me now, we have too much baggage together." He chuckles kissing me again before pulling away trying his best to slowly open his eyes. He blinks but manages to get used to the light. That doesn't mean it won't come without side affects, he's gonna have a killer headache almost as bad as mine. His will most likely be worse though.

"Mama, daddy!" Our baby's voice squeals making me smile I turn to look at her.

"Go see mama," Shawn's mom sets her on the ground in hopes that she'll be able to walk to us, Shawn whips out his phone and I mine.

"Mama!" She smiles while I hold my arms out, Shawn's got the video under control. "Mama!" She giggles slowly moving forward. Her leg wobbles and she looks so scared and confused but it doesn't stop her and every time she nears, she gains more and more confidence. "Mama!" She squeals for herself clapping her hands and hitting my shoulders.

"Look at you princess, look at you," I lift her and the lightweight metal thing attached to her.

"Come see daddy," Shawn holds his hands out hoping to guilt her into falling against him.

"She's my baby," I tease hiding her in my arms making her giggle.

"I'm gonna find my baby," he teases tickling her little foot. "I'm gonna find her!" He smiles kissing all over her as do I. We just attack her with kisses which results in long strands of giggles to escape her lips.

"Look at you M. Mendes, already so active." The nurse chuckles and he stops with our little girl for a moment to look at the doctor. "Don't mind me, I'm just here to check your mobility." She rolls her eyes at him teasingly. The nurses here are all amazing and they're great with and for Shawn.

"Wanna help daddy walk again?" I smile at the little girl who yearns for her fathers affection. He nears her slowly by request of the nurse and she tries to brake through my arms to give him a hug. He's not walking to his full potential and we all know that, he's just teasing the little one.

"Come here," he smiles and finally I release her into him.

"Daddy!" She squeals, But falls just shy of her fathers embrace.

"You're ok," he nods picking her up as quickly as he can hoping she didn't hit her head.

"Sorry," She mumble almost inaudibly, it's so difficult to make out the words she speaks but it's possible.

"There's nothing to be sorry about," he leans his head on hers and she cries softly as if she's let us down. "Look at how gorgeous you are baby." He smiles trying to distract her with the mirrors.

"Look at our beautiful baby." I smile kissing her forehead. "My baby," I go to take her but he moves her away holding her high and low left and right, and she can't stop her giggles no matter what.

"Looking at our smiley baby!" He gasps rocking her softly. "So smiley!" His lips press against her temple and he brings her back to the hospital bed for all of the cuddles he's gonna give her because she's sad. He does it every time she gets sad. He just cuddles her until she's sleeping.

"I could use some cuddles too," I pout and he smiles throwing an arm over my shoulder leading me away.

"Why do you need cuddles love?" His parents were gone after he started walking, but I'm sure we'll be doing lunch or dinner with them sometime within the week.

"You're in the hospital, and our night got cut short." I sigh a little. "We didn't get through the things I wanted to." I lay my head on his shoulder.

"We will soon baby," he kisses my forehead. "Just give me some time." He likes cuddles, they help him feel better so he always cuddles us when we're sad.

"All of the time in the world." I nod at him. "Were gonna get passed these," I nod. "Soon, I just know it."
