"Hi baby," I smile at the girl in my arms. We're babysitting her, Cameron's friend asked us to watch her for the week while she goes on a business trip. Cameron is aunty Cam to her, but I haven't gotten a name from the two year old yet. "Hello little princess," I smile kissing her cheeks making her giggle radically.

"Alright Baby girl, it's supper time," Cameron smiles while I play with the little girl.

"More minutes aunty Cam?" She pleads making my heart melt, she's only young but she knows lots, and Cam's teaching her too. She spends as much time as she can with her. This poor little girl doesn't have a dad so Cameron is all she's got for another parent.

"You can play more after supper, I promise." She nods at the girl who skips into her arms.

"Come," she waves at me with a little smile. She's so cute, and she's little too. "Faster!" She demands, making me smile while I stride towards her.

"What'd you make?" I smile at my girlfriend who sits the girl in a high chair. We already had one, from when we started hoping for kids again. Plus we figured it's better to be prepared.

"I made my baby girl's favourite." She smiles at the little girl who giggles at the vegetables on the table.

"Look at all of the vegetables." I chuckle at her while she hits the tray in excitement.

"Calm down, calm down." She whispers kissing the girls temple.

"Carrots!" She squeals And Cam smiles handing her some steamed carrots.

"I have something else in the oven for us for later." She winks at me and I nod with a slight chuckle. The poor baby always looks so confused when she hugs me, or even really looks at me. She likes us both a lot, just separately. She doesn't seem to like the idea of two people being around her all of the time, but I think it's more confusion. Her moms a single mom, so she's not used to a male figure in her life.

"Yummy aunty Cam," She giggles chomping on the soft carrot.

"Do you like it baby?" She smiles making me chuckle. "Yeah?" I nod as does she. Cam smiles at me and then at the girl before sighing slightly.

"Drink some water." She gives the little girl a sippy cup. I look at my hands fiddling with my fingers. This is why she wants one so bad, because Daisy is the sweetest little thing I could've ever imagined. She begged me for weeks to let her babysit this cute little girl, and now I regret not saying yes sooner.

"Want some tea love?" I turn to my girlfriend who heads towards the living room.

"Sure, Thank you." She nods looking at the little girl and me. "I'm gonna run this little monster a bath," she smiles ruffling her hair. "Can you watch her?"

"Please?" The little girl smiles at me so I smile back.

"Of corse," I nod making her smile while she reaches for another type of vegetables. "Which ones are your favourite?" I smile looking at the assortments of colour.

"Green," She smiles at all of the green ones quickly weeding away the rest.

"Which ones?" I chuckle at her, again and all she does is smile.

"That one!" She squeals pointing to me.

"I'm not a vegetable." I chuckle shaking my head and kissing her cheeks. "I'm not a vegetable," I smile while she squeals and giggles.

"Shawn, don't rile her up." She sighs at the giggling girl. "She's gotta go to bed soon." She doesn't eat tons for dinner, but man does she eat throughout the rest of the day.
