I lay next to her, her next to me and we stare up, at the sky the dark nights sky that we've completely taken advantage of. The stars stare down on us and the heavens watched, she couldn't stop laughing at the thought. She laughed but she smiled, and she still got through it even if it seemed like a big joke to her. "Was I as good as I used to be?" I turn making her laugh again. She was sitting here, in the back of her truck when I got home so I walked over. It was a hike given the length of our property and how I had to weave my way through the forest she was hiding in but when I made it here it was everything.

"You were amazing." She smiles laying on top of me pressing kisses against my lips. "I didn't know you were coming home today." She pouts squeezing my body.

"I didn't think I was either." I smile covering her with the blankets. It's nice to be naked in nature but it's also weird and kind of scary because of all of these unknowns. "It was a surprise." I turn so I face her and I watch her stare at each constellation. Her eyes wide in excitement her cheek pink once she notices I'm looking.

"Stop staring at me. You're making me nervous." She mumbles shyly grabbing my hand. "See that star right there?" She points to one, it shines brightly. It's very prominent and it looks distant from the others. "My mom used to tell me that one was my grandpa. He died when I was six." She smiles at the star and leans into my chest. "He didn't like being social which is why he's so separated from the others."

"And he just watched all of that." I smile at her and she giggles nodding softly. "Is that why you laughed so much?"

"It's weird thinking about that." She shivers and then rolls herself on top of me. "Did you go inside at all?" She presses a kiss against my lips.

"No," I chuckle and she nods kissing me again. "Should I have?"

"I just wanna be the one to introduce you to our baby,"

"Girl or boy." I gasp at the thought, I forgot we were having another one, it sounds awful but I was so consumed in the ones that I remembered I could think about the other one yet.

"I'm not telling." She giggles evilly kissing me again this time with tongue.

"You, should." I smile unable to speak to well.

"You'll meet her tomorrow."

...

The table is completely silent, no one says anything and the only sound being made are the wails from our little girls who want something to play with. "He's home now." She smiles at her parents who's eyes roll in return. I wanna tell my parents about how great she is and how much she's fought to have me back but they wouldn't care anyways. "Noah eat your food," she points at the little boy who's just been sitting on my knee.

"I will still be here after your food is finished." I smile and he giggles kissing my cheek.

"I missed you daddy, so did lovey and avo." He nods sliding over to the seat he has next to me. "Mama cried sometimes, but only at night when she thought we were asleep." He sighs sadly. "Be extra nice to mama, she got hurt." He nods pulling at her sleeve.

"Noah, eat your food." She commands and he nods eating what's been put in front of him.

"Where is mama hurt?" I lean down looking at the boy who looks sad that his mama was so angry about her pain.

"Her arms, mamas arms are hurt. And uncle Scott and an ambulance had to help mama out of the bathtub last week for the second time." He looks down and then up at me. "You have to be extra nice, because mama gets really sad when we talk about you."
