I was mesmerized when I met you, and now you're gone and I can't forget,
You captured me with your smile but left me via text,
I asked you where we went wrong but you told me for a couple weeks your mind was set,
You promised me forever but with that broken, I don't know what to do next.
You were my whole world, the one I loved dear,
Envisioning a future without you is a prophecy unclear,
Our boundaries so strong, I was so sure nothing could interfere,
Now I feel like a broken compass because you're no longer here.
Your heart was my home and now I have nowhere else to stay,
With tears in my eyes, you still shunned me away,
Now I have to stay strong while the hope for us slowly starts to decay,
You left me crying on my knees with nothing left to say.
