Hey bartender, be my shrink for the night,
Keep my glass full, let's make the weight on my chest light,
I have so much to say about feelings I've bottled up tight,
What I say will sound crazy but listen to me despite.
Hey Uber driver, be my priest for the hour,
I've got so much to confess, just listen like a wallflower,
Whatever I say will be a secret of ours,
Don't judge me by my sins, it took a lot for me to uncover.
Hey stranger at this party, let's act like we're friends with nothing to lose,
Let's open up each other's soul, tell me about your demons and future views,
Let me pour my heart out and cry on your shoulder if you so choose,
I just need someone to listen to my heart cry and at this point, I don't really care who.
