We're skin on skin and I still crave you closer,

Whenever we're alone it's hard to keep my composure,

I know we're both dreading the day our relationship will be over,

But I know I won't forget you as I grow older.

We agreed to have no feelings involved but it got harder with time,

Because the intimacy intensified when we called each other "mine,"

Each kiss got us closer to crossing over the line,

And neither one of us wanted to acknowledge that this was no longer fine.

We could've worked out differently and there's only fate to blame,

Our lives crossed paths and we engulfed into a flame,

We were doomed from the start, there was no way to win this game,
