It's round three, two years later and we still haven't learned,
We've been going around in circles but the tables haven't turned,
I know that this mess wasn't something we couldn't control,
But with you gone now feels like I'm missing a part of my soul,
Everything was perfect before we left the honeymoon phase,
But we were delusional to our flaws, we were stuck in a daze,
Saying we were perfect for each other is short of being modest,
If there's one thing I could wish for is for us to go back to August,
We were drunk in love, and now I've never been sober,
Baby, I still have the same locks if you want to come over.
