Whenever the thoughts in your head weren't right or whenever you had a bad day,
There to lend a shoulder to hold your world up until you felt okay,
Baby I did everything I could to make sure my arms were a safe place to lay.
But no matter how much I loved you babe, it was never enough for you,
Some days you would come home and suck the life out of me too,
And I know you couldn't help what your negative energy would make you do,
Our relationship was never 50/50, but I never thought it'd be both my heart and soul I'd lose.
I wanted you to feel better, for both you and us,
But as the relationship went on, our chances of lasting wasn't much,
I know I had to let you go but I didn't want to leave you in such a fuss,
Maybe one day we can come back together when you're ready to display love and lust.
