Danielle was annoyed by William and his stunt he had pulled off. Someone -and she suspected it was him- had put shaving cream on each doorknob she had to touch in order to open the door.

"Why did you do that?" she grumbled to herself.

The female inhaled deeply and braced herself to open the door that lead to the hall. When she was finally in the hallway, she shouted for William. The culprit was holding their two-year old child and they were both grinning.

"Can someone tell me who did this?" Danielle asked. She pulled off her stern voice she used when she had to tell off either Matthis -their son- or the even more childish man who was his father.

"He did!" They both pointed at each other. Matthis wriggled out of the arms of his father and ran to hug his mother's leg.

"It was him, mummie. I don't hurt you or sister," he pouted.

Danielle put her hand on her little boy's head to ensure him she didn't accuse him and glared at William, "I know, sweetheart. Why don't you go to your room? Mummie and daddy need to talk for a moment, okay?"

Matthis nodded and dashed out of the hallway, most probably sensing the oncoming rage his mother was going to let loose on his father.

William looked at the retreating figure of his son and sighed in longing. He wished he was there with him. Ever since Danielle reached her third month of pregnancy, she was even easier to tick off.

"Kitchen. Now," Danielle hissed before stalking to said place.

When William mustered up enough courage to face his very pregnant wife, he found her sitting at the kitchen island, eating chocolate and cheese.

"Yes, darling?" William cooed as he took a seat next to Danielle.

"Don't 'darling' me. I had to wash my hands again to get that stupid prank of my hands, Férocé," she snapped at him before taking another bite of her block of chocolate.

"I am sorry," he coaxed, "I truly am."

"You're not. But you are sleeping in the nursery room tonight."

"Baby," William sulked, "Don't do that to me." He tried to rub Danielle's belly, but she slapped away his hand.

"That also means no touching."

"It was a small joke," he said, trying to lighten the punishment he got, "Don't make it that big of a thing."

William slowly made his way to stand behind Danielle's chair and kissed her earlobe, "You would miss this as much as I would."

"I have better things to do, Will."

He smirked. The male knew the worst part of her anger had passed since she didn't use his last name anymore.

"Like this?" he asked and moved his lips to her neck. William heard her let out a shaky breath and started placing more kisses along her neck and collarbone.

"Stop it," she breathed out.

"You don't seem so sure, Elle. Are you certain I need to stop?" he taunted.

"I am pregnant," she threw back.

"It didn't stop you the first time."
