Title: Mine
Author: hellocheeky
What is 'Mine'?
       - A mystery/thriller in the form of a short story!

Rating:
       7/10

EBI:
- Constant change of tense
- Plurals (the boys' shouting and movement were very much audible)
- Describe the settings and feelings instead of just telling the reader
- Repetitive (because he's trouble. He gets into all sorts of trouble...)
- Some sentences aren't phrased properly ("how did Adam tell you he was looking for me?")

Review:
The story starts slow but action soon takes the wheel and steers head first into a muss of plot twists, confusion and then, revelation. But when everything ties together...it's perfect! The characters are really likeable and really easy to tell apart. 'Mine' skirts so effortlessly along mystery as well as modern day issues like gender stereotyping and poverty, that everything is really realistic and equally scary. It's a great read for those wanting a teen fiction with a twist, and definitely has the kind of language appealing to a younger audience.

Blurb:

'Kidnappings and missing cases had emerged in a small town, namely, Kingstown. Young women have disappeared left and right. The police has been on a desperate search for the abducted girls and leads to a possible suspect. The people of the town had linked the kidnappings and missing cases for the strong likeness of victims. This may be the worst crime that ever shook the once merry town.

Gabi Dankworth is on her way back from work when a threatening obstacle came her way. She wouldn't let this halt her, anyway. She isn't perceived to be reckless for nothing.

Wendy Grey is an actor on her break; visiting Kingstown to see her family and friends. One of the first news she hears is an unanticipated discovery.'
