9. I couldn't visit you (Update)

After breakfast and the gift, I lay on the couch, turn on the screen and watched gravity falls.

- What do you think you're doing? - He said standing with his hands on his hips.

- Uh, watching cartoons - I said with one of my eyebrows lifted.

- Oh, I must have forgotten to tell you - he raised his hands - You have training classes, like right now - 

I let go of a fake laugh - You're kidding, right? - he shook his head and told me to go to the gym.

- Pepper's idea - He yelled at me when the door of the lift was closing.

 I used to train with Happy and my dad when I was younger, nothing close to this. And he's right, he can't be by my side the whole time, but I hope to not use any of this anytime soon, never if is possible.

Anyway, as exhausted as I was now, all I could think about is how much I needed to go to Asgard soon. I promised Loki I will bring him my favorite books so he can read them, because is the only thing he can do in his cell, he insulted Midgardian literature of course, but he said he was curious about what mortals write about, and I was really excited about him reading the stories that I love, hoping he could like them too. But I asked my dad more than the bearable times, and he kept saying no.

- Kid, I know - he sighed - I know that there has been things that we weren't counting but, now, we have to. I can't protect you if you're in space -

- I know dad, but -

- What's so amazing about Asgard anyway? - he asked and I opened my mouth - This is my fault, I'm sorry, I'm being paying more attention in everything but you -

- Dad, is not that, I know you love me, and you know I love you... - But - Now I was the one sighing as I took a seat next to see him - I don't really have any friends besides you, no one cares for the things I care, no one cares about me -

My dad saw my with a tint of sadness in his eyes but then he kept silence and tought... For a long time until his face showed he got a brilliant idea.

- You're the best daughter - he looked at me, messed my hair and we both smiled. - Now why don't you help me with this, I'm thinking we could do one more upgrade...

- You have the eyes of your mother and the hair of your father - a guy that I don't even know his name was talking to me since I left the meeting. It was about trash or something really boring so I told my dad I'll get him some coffee and I ended up with this guy.

- Oh, Pepper's not my mom. - I said taking the coffee cup, and the boy almost spilled his coffee, I laughed at his reaction. - I wish she was, but she's not -

I thought everyone already knew that Pepper wasn't my mother, I mean is all over the internet, what is not on the internet is how she is, I mean, my real mother, don't know who she is, all I remember of my baby life is little me putting bows in the hair of my dad, he teaching me french, the rest of the memories are mostly with Pepper and guys that work at Stark Industries. Dad was a bit busy when i was a little child, but is okay, I think.

-Finally out of that adult place - I said sitting on the copilot seat and my dad laughed.

- I thought you wanted to run the company one day -

- Of course, but, come on that was boring as heck, and you know it -

- Not swearing inside the new car -

- I said heck, that's not swearing - I said putting the seatbelt - You are turning into an old man like Steve - he grinned.

We went back home at night, I was tired and tomorrow i had another early training session, - Ugh, don't wanna - I threw myself into my bed. If those creepy guys from prom trying to brainwash me don't kill me, the training will do it for sure.

But despite all this things going on... Al I could think about was about one thing... Well more like one thing, it was one particular someone.

But I tried to brush those thoughts about Loki, so I played my music really loudly and went to take a shower. Once I was done with my shower I was feeling much calmer so I went to my wardrobe room humming one of my favorite songs of the moment, and put some pajamas on. Finally I was going to rest for the rest of the night.

But when I opened the doors of my wardrobe to go to my actual bedroom I saw him sitting on my bed, my humming stopped, and my whole body stopped moving. He was looking down, he seemed a bit uneasy but when he noticed my presence, he looked at me, and smiled.
