I'm sitting at the table with Declan and Hunter across from me and Jay just walked with his head hung down. "Jay what's wrong?"
"Can we talk?" I got up and walked over to the stairs. "What's wrong?"
I couldn't make out the emotions in his eyes. "Us. Something needs to change."
"Jay is...is this something I did?" I was fighting back tears. "What needs to change is your last name." I heard the grin in his voice and looked down at him kneeling with a small box in his hands. "Ashlynn Keith, we need to change, the good kind of change and it has to start with your last name. Now please don't make me feel the way I did those years ago, when I almost lost you. Do what you did and say yes." Declan and Hunter walked over and they both tensed and as I shook my head up and down the tension was gone and the both looked relieved. Jay put the ring on my finger and I fell to his chest. "Jay is it weird that last night I was going to ask you if you though we would ever get married."
"Not weird. We just know each other so much that we had the samething on our minds." He stopped any further questions by pressing his sweet lips down on mine.
