Elaine was now ready. She had make up on her face and a dress around her waist.

She felt pretty, beautiful.

But she looked fake.

She wanted to impress Douglas, she wanted it really bad.

Maybe Jacqueline was actually right, she was acting like a bitch.

She took a small purse and put inside her phone, keys and money.

She was now ready. Douglas was coming any minute. And she was ready for him.

They were going on BJ's , a small restaurant in the suburbs. It was beautiful. Elaine had been there a time or two before and she knew the place.

And Douglas knew that. He knew everything.

Douglas picked the place very carefully. It was far away from her house and her neighborhood.

And most importantly, her friends.

And Elaine had been there before, she already knew the place pretty well. But not well enough.

Douglas arrived at Elaine's house. He knew exactly where it was. He asked for the address, though, he did not want freak her out.

He knew what he was doing. Oh, he knew damn well.

He was too good at shit like this one.

But today was not the day. He had to wait a little more. He wanted her to trust him completely.

He wanted to be sure first. Before it was time.

He texted her and some minutes later, he saw her stepping out of her house.

She was wearing a small dress. Long enough to be cute and not too revealing, but short enough to make her look hot.

And she was, hot. Douglas had to admit that.

"Hello." she smiled at him.

"Hey, beautiful." women loved that. Douglas knew that one too.

And Elaine was just an another woman. And she blushed. She loved it.

"Let's go." he said and started driving.

Jacqueline and Mark were still in Mark's car. She still didn't know where they were going, but it was going to be something really simple and amazing.

That's what Jacqueline thought. That's what she wanted.

And she was right. Mark was the kind of boy that didn't really want to impress girls from the first date.

And that was exactly what she needed. He was doing great.

After some time, they arrived at a small beach.

"Wow, it's so beautiful." Jacqueline uttered.

"I know." he responded. "I love this place. But we're not done yet, c'mon."

Jacqueline followed without saying an another thing. She observed him quietly.

Mark was the type of person that was, beauteous.

If you could say that for a person.

He had these bright eyes and messy hair, along with his cheerful grin.

He had a warm heart and only trusted a few close friends. Just like Jacqueline.

He was a catch.

They walked together and finally, after about a minute or two that felt way more, they arrived at a small house.

A beach-house.

"It was my uncle's but he passed away. So I come here on weekends." Mark said reading Jacqueline's thoughts. "And I also bring here cute girls."

"So you do the same date every time?" Jacqueline giggled "Aren't you sick of it, yet? I know I would have been."

"Ugh.." he rubbed the back of his neck "That's not what I meant."

"I know," she laughed "I'm just messing with you."

He seemed relieved the moment she told that. He didn't want to mess everything up.

"C'mon let's go inside." he motioned for her to follow him.

He unlocked the door with his keys and they walked inside. The whole house was clean, to Jacqueline's surprise.

He went there often to keep it tidy.

Mark took two glasses and a bottle of wine and they went outside to sit in a small porch that viewed the sea.

The sky was a pink-orange-ish color that made everything even more beautiful.

It was the perfect date.

They were sitting close to each other and they were just looking at the sunset, sipping the wine from their glasses.

"Stunning, isn't it?" he randomly asked.

"It sure is." she whispered "Mark?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry about the prom." she apologized.

"It's okay, Jacqueline. I understand what you and Don have." he looked at her and scooted closer "I don't want to be the one ruining that."

He was looking in her light blue eyes, with his sparkling green ones.

"Don't worry. Don and I are just friends. We just have this stupid tradition about prom." she explained.

"So if I do anything, nothing's going to happen?"

"No nothing at all." Jacqueline assured him.

"What happens if I do this?" he asked and leaned to make his lips meet with hers.

Jacqueline responded quickly and they turned the kiss into a make out session.

He was kissing her. And she was kissing back. Jacqueline never played hard to get. But she wasn't an easy one either.

And the fact that he was kissing her, made Mark so happy.

On the other side, though, Jacqueline didn't fell the spark. She liked Mark, but did she liked him enough to say that she loved him?

Her feelings weren't sure. She wasn't sure.

She kept kissing him though. She had nothing to lose.

But, was she winning anything?

Elaine and Douglas had finished eating and they were heading to his car.

The date was amazing, they both had fun. But it was time for part B on Douglas' big plan.

"I had an amazing time today, Elaine." he told her and looked at her straight in the eyes.

"Me too." she replied "Thank you, for everything."

"I didn't do anything. If it wasn't for you, I'd probably in my bed looking through my phone." he laughed, although it wasn't even true.

The only thing that mattered now was that she had to believe it.

And she did. She laughed quietly and politely, covering her mouth with her hand.

They got in his car and he started driving.

When he was outside her house, before saying goodbye, he kissed her and whispered a 'goodnight beautiful.'

And then he left without an another word.

He was nailing the plan.

He was too good for shit like this one.

I know I said I'd update every weekend, but something came up and I didn't have any free time. So I'm probably going to update one more time throughout this week. So stay tuned to find out about Douglas' master plan.
