Travis Jenkins walked into his daughter's room and sighed. How long was he gone?
Was it that much? Elaine's bed was perfect and the room was tidy. Weird, she usually is pretty messy he thought.
Travis opened the closet and saw very few clothes inside. Where is his little girl?
His ringtone interrupted his thoughts. "Hello?" Travis said.
"Hello, Mr. Travis Jenkins?" a man asked.
"Yes, who's asking please?"
"I'm officer Ortiz and I'm looking for your daughter." Mr. Ortiz said "We need her to come to the police station immediately for an interrogation."
"An interrogation for what?"
"Unfortunately, one of her best friends, Timothy Powel is missing and we need you daughter to just tell us a few stuff about him."
"Well, unfortunately I wanted to report her missing." he said.
"You mean you don't know where she is?" the officer asked.
"No, about a month ago, I left the house and she was here." Travis started "But then I came back multiple times and she was never here. I just thought it was just puberty and normal teenage stuff, but now I came back to my house again and all her stuff are missing and I've been here for two days and she's not here, and not answering her phone."
"I just need you to calm down, okay Mr. Jenkins?"
"We will report her missing along with Mr. Powell and we will try our best to find both of them. We'll be in touch."
"Alright." he hang up.

Douglas walked into the basement looking furious. "How did you do this?" he asked and grabbed Elaine getting her up.
"Douglas! You're hurting me!" Elaine yelled and tried to free her arm from Douglas' grip.
"What did you do?" he asked again, tightening his grip on her arm.
"What are you talking about?" she asked.
"Leave her alone, Douglas." Jack said.
"Shut the fuck up, Jack." he snapped "Come with me."
He got out of the room locking it, while he was dragging Elaine with him. When they got in thr living room, he made her sit on the couch and showed her the TV. "What the fuck is this Elaine?" he asked and looked at her.
Elaine looked at the television and was shocked.
"Timothy Powell and Elaine Jenkins are two teenagers from New York City, here are some pictures of them, they were last seen about two weeks ago. If you see them please contact the New York City Police Station. Now in other news-"
The news lady was talking about Tim and her. They were saved!
Douglas closed the television and sat next to Elaine. "What the fuck Elaine? Who did you contact?" he asked and grabbed a fist full of her hair.
"I don't know how this happened! I was here the whole time and you know it!" Elaine tried to defend herself while she was trying to get Douglas to let go of her hair to end the pain on her sculp.
"Then how do they know that you and most importantly Tim are gone?"
"I don't know! Maybe my dad is back from his work trip."
"Get back in there!" Douglas took her and threw her right into the basement again, where Jack was waiting for her.
"What happened?" he asked.
"Tim and I are on the news, they're looking for us!" Elaine said excited.
"Wait, they're looking for Tim too?" Jack asked "Oh no, that can't be good."
Douglas was indeed furious. He needed to move. The police was already looking for him because he was aa drugdealer, what if Jacqueline or her little boyfriend talked to the police?
He was doomed, he needed to move soon and do something else for a while, or until they forget their case.
He needed to put Tim's body somewhere more secure.
So many things he had to do and so little time.
Things were getting out of hand.
Maybe he could just kill both of them and leave for another country without getting noticed.
Maybe that could work out for him.
Would he really kill Elaine or Jack?
He had fallen in love with Elaine and Jack, Jack was his only true friend.
Until now.
He couldn't kill any of them. It was useless anyway. He just had to stay were he was for a few days and probably wait, until things get better.
