Jacqueline and Don were friends since they both remember.

Their families where not that close, but they went to school together and they knew each other since kindergarten. They were best friends since then.

As the years passed, they were still friends. When Jacqueline fought with her family, Don was there.

When Don's dad left them, Jacqueline was there.

When Nathan almost died, Don was still there.

They were by each others side even in the most difficult times of their lives. They went together.

Their families though, they weren't really feeling the connection they were feeling. And they never really got along. They didn't even bother getting to know each other.

And that was a thing that was always upsetting for Jacqueline and Don.

Carol and Charles, Jacqueline's parents never really liked Don.

But Monica, was always positive. The first few years after her husband left her, she was just thinking he'll just come back one day.

That she will get to sleep and find him the next morning waiting for her at the doorstep of her house. But of course, that never happened.

Even when Don became an adult, 18 years old, she didn't want to realize that her husband was not coming back.

She was now alone, to face her own darkness by herself.

And that made everyone around her upset as well.

It was killing Don to come home and find a gloomy lady, instead of his happy and full of life, beloved mother.

"Remember when we used to do this when we were kids?" Don said "We never really slept though."

Don and Jacqueline were laying on Don's bed cuddling.

"We never got to have a real sleepover when we were kids you know, because of our parents and all." Jacqueline said looking upset. "Does your mother know?"

"You know we don't really get to talk lately, because of her working. But Cam overheard us talking on the phone."

"Oh my god that's so embarrassing." she blushed.

"Don't worry, she's happy for us."

"Nathan too."

Suddenly, the door opened and in came the beautiful 14 year old girl that Don called his sister, Camille. "Oh my god! Tell me you're not having sex!" she said and closed her eyes with her hands.

Jacqueline burst out laughing. "We're not having sex, don't worry. You can open your eyes."

"What do you want, Cam?" Don said.

"Where's mum?" she asked "She's not here yet."

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you." Don explained. "She's not coming tonight, she said she'd sleep in a friends house or something."

"What? And what am I supposed to do while you're here cuddling and kissing and whatever."

"Get to your point." Don said reading his sister like an open book.

"My friend, Sally, said I could go over to her house for a sleepover." Camille said with an innocent smile stuck on her face.

"So, you get to leave and we can have the house for ourselves?" he asked.

Camille nodded.

"Want me to drive you?"

Camille nodded again and after kissing Jacqueline's lips Don left with his sister.
