enjoy the boom boom chapter (I call it the boom boom chapter because it is the beginning of the goodies)

"I'm telling you, he was looking at me and he was like dead serious." Jacqueline said to Don through the phone " If he gets into this, how am I going to drug him out again?"

"He can never know."

"Jacqueline, you need to calm down and relax, he's not going to find out." Don tried to make her relax "Nathan's probably going to think that you're on drugs because you're acting like crazy, you need to chill, okay?"

"Fine, you know what? I'm coming at your house."

"See you in a bit." Don said and hung up.

Jacqueline was awake a long time now, but she wasn't getting out of her room because she was afraid to face her parents and brother.

But she wanted to go to Don's house, and she had to pass the kitchen to go to the front door.

She walked slowly to the kitchen. Everyone was sitting there but it seemed like they were just eating their breakfast. They were not waiting for her, with angry faces. They were just eating their breakfast.

Maybe Don was right, she was getting crazy.

"Good morning Jacqueline." Nathan said and looked at her.

"Hello sweetie."

"Good morning."

They all greeted her. Like it was a normal morning.

"Good morning, guys." Jacqueline smiled. "I have to leave, but I'll be back soon."

"Wait, where are you going?" Carol asked.

"Elaine's house." Jacqueline lied. Her family had to think that Elaine was still at her house and that everything was normal.

When Elaine was not like this Jacqueline was at her house every day. They needed to believe that she was still going there.

Jacqueline was expecting a question like 'are you?' but instead Carol just said: "Need a ride?"

"No, I'll walk. Thanks."

She walked to Don's house quickly and knocked on the door. Cam opened it "Hello, Jacqueline." she said.

"Hello, Cam."

"I'm going to my friends house, you have fun." she continued "Don's in his room."

"You have fun too."

Jacqueline walked inside and went to Don's room. "Hey Donnie." she said.

"Oh hey Jacque." Don answered "Are you feeling better?"

"Yeah, I still think Nathan is suspicious, but my parents still have no clue. I just hope Nathan doesn't do anything stupid." Jacqueline sighed.

"He won't alright?"

The room stayed in silence for a while. "Now there's one more thing we have to do." Don said.

"And what is that?"

"To tell Tim the whole truth about Elaine and Douglas and the drugs they're taking." he said looking serious.

"I don't know Don." Jacqueline thought about it for a second "It took me weeks to tell you!"

"Yeah, but Tim is getting very close with this guy, Mark and I don't like it at all."

"And why is that?"

"Not only because he is your ex, but because he is a big jerk." Don explained "I don't really like him, and I don't trust him at all."

"Okay then, I guess you know what you're talking about." Jacqueline sighed "Or I just hope you do."

"I know what I am talking about Jacqueline." he rolled his eyes "You need to trust me on this."

"Fine, I trust you. So how are we going to tell him?"

They both knew it wasn't going to be easy, but it was necessary, an extra pair of eyes and hands will be super helpful. They couldn't trust someone else, but Tim.

Tim was definitely the one. He had the right to know. After all Elaine was his best friend too. Or more than his best friend, he was his secret crush.

Jacqueline and Don both knew that very well, as well.

It was going to be tough, but it had to happen. And it had to happen that exact day.

"I'll call him to come here." Don finally said.

"I think this is a good idea." Jacqueline agreed.

Don dialed Tim's number on his phone and put it on speaker. They waited for Tim to pick it up and after some beep beeps, he finally did.

"Hello?" he said.

"Hey Tim." Don started. "It's me Don." he said awkward although it was pretty obvious.

"Jacqueline and I, are at  my place, wanna come over? We have something to say to you."

Don looked at his girlfriend and she nodded meaning she was agreeing with what he said.

"Are you sure man?" Tim sounded confused "I mean I don't want to be a third wheel or something." he coughed awkwardly through the phone.

"No, no we just want to talk to you." Don said serious.

"Is Jacqueline pregnant or something?" Tim said "You seem pretty serious and upset."

"No, Jacqueline is not pregnant, I assure you , man." Don said but that moment he hoped his problem was Jacqueline being pregnant.

"Fine, I'll be there soon." Tim said and hung up.

Jacqueline and Don looked at each other. They went to the living room and sat on the sofa, just waiting for the door bell to ring.

No one was talking they were both blankly staring at the wall that was right in front of them.

They were just thinking ways to tell Tim that he was right all this time, about Douglas being dangerous. To tell him that his crush had become a drug addict and that not trusting Douglas was the right thing to do.

After six minutes the door bell rang and Jacqueline and Don looked at each other, sharing a look full of worry.

Don slowly walked to the front door and opened it, with Jacqueline behind him. "Hello guys!" Tim said.

"Uh hey, Tim." Don said.

Jacqueline felt her stomach becoming a giant knot, that was eating her alive, from the inside out.

Tim seemed so happy, and they were about to ruin his happiness.

She was about to ruin his happiness.

"What is it guys?" Tim said. He seemed worried and none of them was blaming him.

"What is this thing you want to talk to me about."

"I think you need to sit down for this one." Jacqueline said and sat on the sofa.

Don sat next to her and Tim sat in an armchair right in front of them.
