Converse shopping is completely ridiculous. Rocky refuses to let me walk out of the mall without buying at least 4 pairs. The lady's eyes almost pop out of her head when we approach the till with 10 boxes. I honestly don't blame her though, not to mention all of the boys and Rydel had on an assortment of hoods, beanies, and sunglasses to make them unrecognizable. It was an interesting day in the least.
I press the door of my bedroom shut, walking over and flopping onto my bed. Pulling out my phone, I call Mikayla for the fourth time today. Still, she doesn't answer.
Momentarily admitting defeat, I open Instagram.
"Rockyr5: Converse shoppin wit #dacrew"
Rolling my eyes at the dramatic selfie the 7 of us took, I scan through the sea of comments, most of them wondering about who the girl is. Who I am. Double tapping the picture, I continue to scroll through my feed.
"Da_name_is_sam: Partaaaay at my place tonight! 🙌 Won't be the same without my girl though! Miss ya Marbear!"
"@Da_name_is_sam" I type frustratedly. "Stop calling me that!"
He replies instantly, causing a smile to creep onto my face.
"@marriya_ratliff: noooope. And you can't make me"
"@Da_name_is_sam: you underestimate me"
He doesn't reply, but sends me a text instead.

Gotta go girly. People are showing up. Loooooove yoooooou
Without replying, I plug in my headphones and put my favourite song of the moment on repeat. I can't fight off the tears as the lyrics play, hitting closer to home then I ever thought a song could. I love this song, but I cry almost every time I hear it. Despite the fact it's 4 in the afternoon, I soon find myself drifting off to sleep.

Ross's PoV
"Where is she?" Riker asks. "It's been 3 hours."
"Lets go check," Ryland decides, rising from his spot on the couch in Ratliff's living room.
Soon, the 6 of us surround Marriya's bed.
I stare contently down at the beautiful girl sleeping silently in front of me. Everything about her is perfect, I only wish I can find a way to show her that.
Sighing, she rolls over, pulling the headphones from her ears. After hearing a soft buzz coming from them, I am intrigued to pick them up. I pull out the jack, and Emblem 3 fills the room.
"First winter's snowfall
Throwing backyard snowballs
Warming up by the fireplace
Marshmallows catch fire on an open flame
All my friends get together
Wishing I was there but I'm never
Living in the sunshine oh but dreaming of a place called home
I wanna run wanna run away-ay
I'm dreaming of a place called home
I could try but I'm stuck here today
I'm dreaming of a place that's
3000 miles away
Feels like it's forever
Seems like yesterday
