Marriya's PoV
The second Riker shifts the vehicle into park, I jump out, run across the street, and slam every door in my house behind myself.
For some reason, I give in to the urge of climbing onto the roof again. I ease my body into the same spot I had found last time and close my eyes, images of Mikayla and Sam floating around in my head.
Right now, they're the only ones I want to be with. I would give anything to see their faces again, to hold them tight in my arms at least one more time.
"Marriya?" Ross asks gently, sitting close beside me.
"Go away," I reply harshly.
"No," he says simply.
"Yes," I retort. "Leave me alone."
"Nope," he answers, popping the 'P'.
"I don't want to talk to you," I state coldly.
"Don't be mad, Mar."
"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?" I cry.
"I didn't want you to be sad. If you knew I was leaving, things would be different between us."
"That doesn't change anything," I reply. "How long are you gonna be gone?"
"Three weeks," he answers. "And believe me, I wanted to tell you. I tried-"
"You had so many chances, yet you kept it to yourself! Did you seriously think I wouldn't find out?"
"I knew you had to find out, I just really wish it wasn't like this. Plus, I was hoping you would come," he says.
"Like on tour?"
"Yeah, on tour. Mom, Dad, Cheryl, and George have decided its time we start touring on our own, and I wanted you to come with us."
"I would love to. And I'm so sorry for being mad, I overreacted," I admit.
"It's fine, I would have done the same thing," he assures me.
I feel his arm wrap around me, pulling me into him. His face slowly leans in, but I quickly rest my head on his shoulder before anything happens. He lays his head against mine and we sit together for the rest of the night, watching the sun fade away.

I stare intently at my clock, hoping that if I concentrate hard enough, I will be able to make time go backwards. Mark, Stormie, Cheryl, and George's flight landed an hour ago, and they will be home any minute. They will walk through the front door, and I will come face to face with Ross' parents for the first time, not to mention my own.
"Relax," Ross murmurs into my hair, pulling me up onto his lap. Again his face leans towards mine. Out of panic, I bury my face in the crook of his neck. My arms wrap loosely around his waist, and he immediately holds me closer.
"I don't know if I can do this," I whisper, hugging him tighter.
"Relax, Marriya. They will love you, I promise," he replies.
"But what if they don't? Then what do we do?"
His reply is cut off by the unmistakable sound of the front door swinging open.
"Ross?" An unfamiliar voice calls.
"Mom!" He exclaims.
I push myself off his lap just as a beaming blond lady walks into the room, arms open wide.
"Oh, Rossy," she murmurs, hugging him tightly. "I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too, Mom."
After releasing him, she turns to me. "You must be Marriya."
"Hi," I say weakly.
"I'm Stormie, Ross' mom."
"Nice to meet you," I reply quietly.
She opens her arms, pulling me into a hug.
Maybe things won't be so bad after all, I think to myself.
"Dad!" Ross cries as a man walks into the room, followed by Cheryl and George.
"Marriya, Darling!" Cheryl smiles, pulling me into her.
I hug her back, overwhelmed by the intense outpour of emotion I have just witnessed in the past minute.
"Where is everyone?" Ross asks after we are all seated around the room.
"They're at our house," Mark answers.
"Why?" I ask.
"We need to talk to you two, and we'd rather them not be here," Cheryl explains.
"What's going on?" I ask; suspicion growing within me.
"As your parents, we see an issue that is concerning to us. We have made an executive decision that in the long run will be beneficial to everyone," George continues.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Ross demands.
"Language!" Stormie scolds
"Sorry," he mutters. "What are you talking about?"
"You two need to break up."

I know this chapter is short an suckish, but I wanted to update one last time before I leave.
Ross and Marriya made up, but they seem to have bigger problems. Why are the parents doing this? You'll find out soon enough
