Ross's PoV
"What are you doing here?" I ask weakly.
"I missed you, silly," she answers as if its the most obvious thing in the world. "Who's this?"
"His ex-girlfriend," Marriya answers, storming past the home wrecker in the direction of her house. I run behind her, grabbing her wrist in my hand. She lets out a forceful scream, thrashing with all the force inside of her. It causes me physical pain to see how hard she is fighting just to get away from me. Marriya drives her heel into my foot, causing me to release her as I clutch my ankle in agony. Immediately, she breaks into a sprint as she runs across the street. I wince each time another mangled sob escapes her lips; it's impossible to miss the heavy flow of tears streaming down her face. I drop to my knees in the grass and begin to cry. Words can't explain how I feel right now. She was the best thing I had going. The only girl I've ever loved.
"Rossy?" a voice squeaks.
"Courtney, what the hell was that?" I scream. "How did you find me?"
"Ross, I'm a fangirl," she explains. "I had your address off Twitter in less than 15 minutes. Give us some credit."
Her attitude completely disgusted me.
"I told you to leave me alone," I seethe; tears streaming down my face. "I told you I have a girlfriend."
"She said she's your ex," she points out.
"She is the love of my life," I whisper. "And now I've lost her for good."/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
Marriya's PoV
I run up the stairs and into my room as fast as I can. Swinging the door shut, I stumble back into it. I'm soon lying on the floor, sobbing my eyes out. Wet sobs rack my chest; my fist banging mercilessly against the ground. I now know everything he has ever said to me has been a lie. He never cared. He never loved me. It's over. It's all over.
"Marriya?" Ratliff calls through the door.
Gently, he turns the nob and pushes the door open. Taking in the state I'm in, he freezes. Slowly, he crouched down to the floor and lays down in front of me. He takes my hands in his.
"What happened?" he asks softly.
"I... I gave him everything," I scream; sobs violently shaking my body.
"Everything?" Ratliff asks quietly, understanding exactly what I mean.
"Every part of me was his," I whimper. "I don't know when that became not good enough for him."
"He doesn't deserve you," Ratliff whispers.
"It's okay, Ell, I understand. She's skinnier. She's funnier. She's prettier. Don't worry, I wouldn't choose me either."/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
I am surrounded by darkness. Much to my confusion, my entire body is visible as I look down. Cautiously, I step forward. As I walk, light begins to pour into the dark room. Silhouettes appear in front of me, slowly becoming clearer as I close the distance between us.
It's Ross and the girl.
"Ross," I whisper.
Turning to face me, I see his signature smirk curving his lips.
"What are you doing with her?" I question weakly.
"Upgrading," he replies, his eyes trailing lustfully down the girl's body.
Taking her by the waist; he pushes her against the wall and begins kissing her passionately. Pain stabs through my chest as I watch them; still completely in love with the blond haired boy in front of me.
"Hey, Mar Mar," a voice sneers from the shadow.
Turning, I meet the eyes of the only two people who ever called me that. Kayden and Jeremy.
"Kayden!" I cry. "You need to help me!"
"And why the hell would I do that?" he demands.
He shoves me hard, causing me to lose balance and skid across the cold floor. Glaring down icily; Kayden strides over and yanks me up by my hair. I scream out in pain, but no one comes to help me. No one cares enough to save me.
Jeremy takes hold of my body before pressing me firm against the wall. I attempt to fight out of his grip, but to no avail. His warm lips attack my neck with a line of forceful kisses before landing on my mouth. His large hands pin both of my wrists against the wall, and I lose almost all ability to move.
The voices of my closest family and friend echo in my head, causing the tears to pour faster.
"You're worthless," Riker spits.
"I wish you never became a part of this family," Ellington growls.
"You were a fool to believe we ever wanted you," Cheryl states coldly.
"You are a fuck up," Ryland sneers.
"Do everyone a favour and kill yourself," Rocky says rudely.
"I'm glad you left," Mikayla states sassily.
"You mean nothing," Emily speaks.
Of all the voices ringing in my head, one is louder than the rest. It belongs to Ross.
"I never loved you."
Painful and mangled screams escape my lips, but no one comes to save me. Everyone I love surrounds me, continuing to call me down. Never in my life have a felt a pain this intense and excruciating. Silently, I beg for death. Anything would be better than this.
But it doesn't come. Jeremy continues to finish what he started in my room over a year ago, my head pinned so my line of vision is directly on Ross' heated make out session with that twig figure, relationship wrecking skank. When I squeeze my eyes shut to block out the scene around me, the voices echo louder in my head.
With the little voice I have left, I continue to scream out in hopes there is one person left who loves me enough to save me./\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
Ratliff's POV
The four Lynch boys and I lay on my bed, quietly discussing tentative details for an upcoming American tour. Being in the same room as Ross completely revolts me, but I don't see a way around it. We're a band and we're brothers, for better or for worse. His story does hold some credibility, but I will never forget the look on my baby sister's face when she realized what Ross had done. The sound of her sobs still ring in my ears; her tear stained face haunting me every time I close my eyes.
The pen drops from my hand and clatters to the ground as a blood curdling scream pierces my ears. The sound of pure horror overwhelms my senses.
"Marriya," Ross breathes.
All five of us are on our feet in an instant; at her door only seconds later. Rocky pounds his fist against the door, but gets no response. The screams are louder here; more desperate. My heart aches as each cry becomes more pained than the last.
"Move!" I demand.
The four Lynch's part from the door, and I step in. Letting out an aggressive grunt, I gain a bit of momentum before knocking the door in. The wood splits at my will, gaining us access to the room.
My eyes lock on Marriya as another scream is torn from her lips. Sprinting forward, I fall to my knees at the side of her bed.
"Marriya?" I scream.
Her eyes are swollen; her lips are parched. Tears stream down her red cheeks; another pained sob escapes her mouth. Her skin is like ice, but her hair is soaked with sweat. Violent trembles ripple through her small frame; all of her limbs thrashing in the air.
Ross places the expanse of his large hand on her stomach, and she immediately stills.
My eyes grow wide, and I look up to him.
"What is happening?" I whisper.
"She still loves him," Ryland answers. "No matter how much her brain tells her not to, she's still in love with him."
"What does that mean?" Rocky asks.
"It means I still have a chance at winning her back," Ross replies, glimmers of hope evident in his voice.
My jaw locks at the idea. It's his fault this is happening in the first place. He can date her again over my cold, dead body.
Anger begins pulsing through my veins, and I shove Ross away after pinning him with a nasty glare.
The second his touch leaves Marriya's body, the screams start again./\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
