Sam's POV

It was Monday. A horrible, rainy day here and the temperature just below 17°C. I was just glad to be quite warm in my baby blue jumper and a black hoodie. My jeans didn't help much as they were ripped by the knees, but I had no other option other than mud stained joggers from me playing football and forgetting to wash them.

I had 15 minuets until I had to leave for the bus and Colby hasn't texted me yet. Of course, I didn't mind. He needs his sleep.

My phone buzzed in my pocket meaning a text or a notification had came through.

Food lover- Hey bitch. We are going in the canteen this morning I'm hungry as hell.

Little bitch- Okai. Where are you?

Food lover- I'm on the bus...

Little bitch- WHAT?! it doesn't get to yours yet

Food lover- Sammy... It's two minutes to nine...

Little bitch- ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! MY TIME IS WRONG!!

I groan and quickly get up , rushing to get my bag.

I open the zip and check I have everything.

"Geography homework, science book, planner, pen, pencil, calculator and chocolate."

I say checking off everything I have.

I grab my house key and head on out.

Knowing I'll be late if I walk, I ran as fast as I could to my destination.

A lot of people looked at me but I didn't care. The water from the dirty puddles splashed up my leg and some gone into my trainers. Ew.

It wasn't raining badly, just some drizzle.

I made it there but I think I have  missed it. The bus has just come round the corner so I could finally relax and not have a panic attack.

The driver pulled over into the space provided for them. As I stepped on I told him where I wanted to go and gone to the back, next to Corey.

"You made it I see."

"Well, duh"

"What happened?"

"My time is wrong on my phone."

I pulled out my phone and gone onto my settings to change it.

"Has Colby texted you by any chance?"

"Not me. He has to Brennen though"

"When?"

"Today. Brennen told me. Apparently they are going out today. Into a haunted forest he said"

I stayed silent while I could feel the anger burn up inside me.

"He hasn't texted you has he?"

Corey put an arm round me as I shook my head.

"Is Brennen more important?"

"Sam, don't say that. He will text you soon."

"Corey... I'm scared"
